Supercharger - Merritt, BC

Merritt is getting eight more locations. At the Esso Across from the existing superchargers. Its mostly built but still fencing around it. Saw it at noon today. Now there will be 8 150KW chargers (existing at Best Western) and 8 250KW chargers (new) in Merritt. should prevent lineup issues in the summer.

yeah, I saw that street view was outdated. I would have taken more pictures of the charger for context but my wife wasn't wanting to put up with my nerdy s**t.

Hopefully they don't close down the 8x 150kW chargers behind the Best Western.
Unless BW got annoyed by the number of Tesla owners just walking in to use the washrooms!

BW already refused Tesla owners to use the washroom and rather we were directed to the travel stop across the street.

There will be a new Denny's in the plaza so it would be a great lunch spot as well.

Went through Merritt today, there was a 3-4 car wait at the Merritt charger. Also a short wait at Hope, and Abbotsford Superchargers at the same time. I guess a lot of people headed out of town for the weekend.

SC lines have been widespread the last few days. Imagine next weekend! We could have really used Hope and Merritt's expansions.

Passed through Tuesday, pretty busy. People were trying the new one, unlikely it is open. The new one is very close.

I'm planning on dropping by the new location on July 01. Don't expect to see it open at all, but I don't mind taking a drive to Merritt for a day trip. thanks for sharing

was there today, still no transformer, just an empty pad, so it will be a while.
