Sign bases are integral to the psu so they can pound sand on that one. The lights bases in between the PSU are separate and should be permitted in the plans.

What does removing the bollards have to do with magic dock? If it’s the language on the signs, they can just swap those. The bollards are there to protect. Removing them won’t allow better parking for non Tesla vehicles. Guessing it might be a permit thing. Signs might need to be permitted separately, even though they are part of the building permit drawings.
On MagicDock locations they almost always remove the bollards to ensure non-Tesla drivers can pull up far enough to plug their vehicles into the chargers.
The bollards on the PSU sites are barely in front of the pedestals, there would only be a couple of inches gained. Seems like asking for trouble.
I always thought the same thing. Removing the bollards is going to spell disaster for all those PSU sites where the charger is bolted VERY securely to the large base.
