Immense amount of Central OR supercharger work recently. Madras already online, at least one and possibly two new Bend locations (plus the service center), Redmond is a pin on the Coming Soon map, and now Sisters. Great news!

Driving over from Corvallis, I barely made it to the destination charger at Black Butte. With 2 miles to go in the “tank”. Glad to see a Sisters SC, but it wouldn’t have helped me this weekend. As the EV’a get older, the batteries deteriorate. The navigator stated I would have 12% left when I got to Sisters. This almost destroyed me and my family.

I’d still like to see one at Biggs, of course, and at John Day. John day would open up a lot of park land down there.

The navigation adjusts for the degradation but not for the cold and your speed. So when you see that arrival percentage ticking down, slow down.

This definitely used to be the case. But, I'm not sure that's true anymore. I was driving recently at -26C (-15F) and navigation estimates were spot on. Plus, I think it was adjusting for a massive headwind in the Gorge.
I live in Corvallis and drive that route, too. I can make it to Sisters okay in 2019 M3 SR. If you're nervous about at all, take this route and charge at Detroit Lakes SC? It's not much longer and it's easier drive with better roads.

springfield sometimes. And then go McKenzie highway. Much better than tombstone pass. But longer.

Permit was issued 3/2/23 but no dig tickets have been filed so I wouldn't expect signs of construction yet.
Drove the Rays parking lot this week (I live in Sisters), no locating paint anywhere in the lot.

Dig ticket filed today. Looks like SE corner of parking lot closer to the hotel.
