@iwannam3 , thanks for your updates! Once the tall distribution center cabinets (grey or white) are in place between the white supercharger cabinets and the transformer, you should start seeing some action, as they pull cable through the conduit to connect everything.

This wait for one Tesla component is not what I'm used to seeing. Typically the Tesla hardware shows up in one shipment. Backorder? Damage in transit? Who knows?

I live a few blocks from the site, I noticed the site going up a few days ago. They need to put up a fence around the high voltage box but otherwise it appears to be ready to go.
Thanks, @Paul Brinker! It's great to have so many eyes on this site! Although many sites have equipment enclosures, a lot of sites installed in the last year or two do not, apparently relying on the locked cabinets alone for safety and security. The plain slab for the equipment here suggests this one might not- and given its highly visible location, that might even help security.

There are 12 bays at the Super charger station at Fred Meyer in Salmon Creek (just north or Vancouver WA) They were hoping to get them done by Thanksgiving but in speaking to the crew, they said they were waiting on supplies from Tesla - so looks like first week in December - I'll keep you all posted :)

We drove to Portland today and had to spend an hour at the Iilani casino (I don't gamble and I'm not a fan of smoke either), but we had to get enough buffer to get back to Centralia. Can't wait for the 3 and this supercharger to open

It will be moot when the supercharger is open, but the PDX airport has free chargers. While you're waiting, you can ride the light rail one stop down the line where there are a lot of shops and restaurants.

There is also a CHAdeMO at the Fred Meyers off SR 14 in Vancouver just past the I-5 bridge.

Ilani actually would have been a good spot for a supercharger, but given that we are now getting one <10 miles away, I doubt it will happen any time soon.

Have you ever used the atlantic aviation tesla chargers? Is it open to the public? I'm assuming they have coffee in their lobby... Wondering if a purchase would then count as being a customer?

Living around here I have never used any local charger other than the one in my garage. I do check them out when I see them though. I wouldn't be surprised if the Atlantic Aviation charger was installed because of a forum member. I don't recall his screen name, but there is someone who lives in Vancouver, WA and flies small jets out of PDX for a living, I think he works for a charger company. He had a signature red Model S until a few months ago. Hi avatar has his signature S parked in front of a business jet.

Portland is pro eco everything. They have bike trails everywhere and even built a new bridge over the Willamette River recently that is foot and bike only. The parking garage for the hockey/basketball arenas has quite a number of EV only parking spots with chargers. Last time I went to a hockey game my friend insisted we take my car because he wanted me to park in one of those spots, but I found a spot nearby. I don't want to take a charging spot if I don't have to, there are a lot of Leafs and other short range EVs that need it.

Any updates from the locals in regards to this site. Maybe Tesla quickly delivered the part and it is now operational, just in time for my trip hehe? I'm being super wishful but realize it's unlikely.

I drove by about an hour or so ago. There were two guys working hard on something in the open cabinets. It was pouring rain so I didn't want to bother them. But maybe someone that knows what they are looking at can zoom in & see what is going on.

Those are new cabinets they are working on, they are sitting on top of the several conduits that were visible in previous photos.
