More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

We're on a quick trip to Tampa, FL. My wife has zero patience for this crazy pursuit of trying to hit every supercharger, so I'm not stopping at every one on the way in the interest of keeping a smile on her beautiful face.

My wife was very excited to charge at Adairsville - Union Grove Rd, GA, as we had never stopped at a Buc-ee's before, and she wanted to see what all the excitement was about. She was quite impressed by the huge and clean bathrooms, but was a bit underwhelmed by the food choices. She must eat gluten-free, sadly (she really, really misses croissants in the morning, and beer in the evening), and Buc-ee's seems to have ignored that small market niche.

Day 3 was about friends and family, but I did clear two more superchargers.

How does this even happen? AP handled it without a hiccup.

Day 4 was a non-hunting day but was full of history, advanced machining, and fantastic new connections. A big thanks to @Tdreamer for the final connection, which was the cherry on top of a great day. Below are a few sights from the day. Oh, and we drove through a monsoon for about 1/2 hour.

This is the tavern at Longfellow's Wayside Inn. It was built in 1716. Really. Wikipedia entry.

This is the Linwood Mill in the Blackstone River Valley. This area was the birthplace of the industrial revolution.

This is Isaiah Thomas' printing press and is one of the earliest surviving examples. It dates back to the 1740s! It resides at the American Antiquarian Society

I'm jealous of your average temp! Mine was about 54F yesterday. Lots of wind and rain too!

We had a short route today, and in the past we would have easily done it with only one charging stop. I suggested we stop several times so I could "stretch my legs" and "see what is at this charger". I was able to hit four chargers in total without my wife becoming overly suspicious. I made the rookie mistake of picking a hotel with a charger - otherwise I could have also hit the Fort Valley, GA charger without her questioning my sanity.

Another fairly short day on the road. This one was more pleasant though. The rain finally stopped as I crossed the bridge leaving Sweden. Then as I waited for the ferry from Denmark to Germany, the sun came out! It was a very pleasant but cool day the rest of the way. I don't mind sunny and cool at all, especially considering the a/c almost never works in European hotels.

I'll be heading south through Frankfurt tomorrow, then eventually down to Stuttgart before making another pass through the Frankfurt area coming back north. Definitely no shortage of unvisited superchargers in this area for me, although it is a different process because I am now in an area that I visited on my 2019 trip so I have to be sure not to re-visit old superchargers. One thing that helps is that they seemed to switch to the 250kW superchargers right after I made that trip so if it's a 250kW charger, I know I haven't visited before and if it's 150kW, I might want to double check to be sure I haven't been there.

And of course, shortly after having a couple of beer I see a new green dot at Sun City Centre, FL not that far from me in Tampa. I could maybe have slipped down there when I was out this afternoon. But now my beer-addled brain fails to come up with a convincing rationale for heading there this evening. Drat. It's not like I'm going to give up beer, so I'm ready to head out at a moment's notice, any time of day or night.

Day 5 was a transit from the Boston area to Portland, Maine. We lucked out and found ourselves at the Fort Williams Lighthouse Park during the Golden Hour on a gorgeous afternoon.

Day 6 was a hybrid day. Bernadette needed to work, so she stayed at the hotel. I headed out to clear the out-of-the-way superchargers in Maine. I was a bit disappointed to not find many good photo opportunities.

Some bozo tried to lecture me on the "right way" to choose stalls at V3 supercharger. It was really off-putting.

Made my first major blunder of this trip by missing Hohenwarsleben. I drove all the way out there to get Irxleben and didn't realize there was another supercharger on the other side of the Autobahn. I always refresh my map on sc.life after checking in to verify that my next stop makes sense and there isn't anything else nearby. In fact, I did this in this case too, but something distracted me right as I refreshed and I was already back on the road. I could have turned around and gone back, but psychologically that was too painful.

It was a nice day of driving all around for once. Driving through Hessen almost felt like home, partly because I spent a couple months there when I was in my teens and partly because the weather was nearly identical to typical August weather back in Seattle (70s and sunny).

Hohenwarsleben. I drove all the way out there to get Irxleben
Hohenwarsleben is one of the older locations, strategically placed at a very important location and notorious for it's unreliable peak performance.

I often had to charge there, and was very happy when Irxleben became an alternative.

Did you recognize the no-parking-signs there? I wonder what they are thinking how non-EV drivers are supposed to consume food at the gas station when there are no parking spaces

😂 Clearly he didn’t know he was in the presence of greatness. Newbie?
He was not a newbie. It wasn't that he engaged me, it was his approach, attitude, and the fact he was doing so at a V3 with just two people charging. He clearly also didn't know that V3s can share power across cabinets, so he was also wrong.

I've seen a lot of funny (to me) no parking signs in both France and Germany, but I don't recall exactly how it was at that location.

Small consolation for when I some day go back to Hohenwarsleben. On that drive, I first noticed the watchtower and then the customs office of the old "inner border" of East and West Germany. Zooming in on the Nav, it looks like there is an awesome museum there. I was so tempted to turn around and check it out, but I knew I would spend hours there and it's tough to do something like that unplanned when you are in supercharger hunting mode. But I definitely want to check that out next time I'm in the area. For some reason I was fascinated by the East/West German border when I was a kid (moreso than the Berlin Wall which always got more media coverage in the US). Surprisingly, unlike a lot of my childhood daydreams, it looks like it was fairly similar to how I imagined it.

It sounds like one of those situations where you can be arrogant or you can be wrong, but you can't be both!
