More Info: Supercharging.Life database

This is a friendly contest for Tesla owners to track the number of unique public Superchargers where they have charged

- "Supercharger count" is the number of unique public Superchargers where you have charged (just being there does not count), whether or not you were the person plugging in the vehicle (such as a Valet Parking garage or a Passenger) and whether or not it was your own personal vehicle (such as a rental, a loaner, or a friend's Tesla) as long as you were the one who drove >50% of the distance to reach the charger(s).
- The list of chargers in the supercharging.life database are the ones included in the game. If you think one should be added or removed from the list, let us know.
- Only chargers available to the public without special permission are included in the game.
- Chargers not connected to the grid are not counted.
- Doublet locations like the North/South Supercharger 'pairs' in CT, ME, NH, etc. count as individual locations.
- More than 1 charger at the same address, such as Lenox Square Mall (Atlanta, GA) or Montgomery Mall (Bethesda, MD) count as individual locations when they appear as a separate location on the Tesla Nav screen.
- Inactive competitors will be archived and removed from the leaderboard. Just post an update to be reactivated.

See Supercharging.Life database for info on how to post your own visits to the database (preferred), or post your locations with date visited to this thread and one of the admins will update your list for you. All visits must be posted to this thread - not just entered in supercharging.life. If you are the first in the game to visit a supercharger location, please post to the thread as soon as you can so others know it has been visited.

The question is: what’s the threshold for when a temporary location counts? So far in this game, that threshold has been a grid connection and a unique location (examples: Knoxville, TN - Neyland Drive and Salem, VA - Apperson Drive).

That’s not what I’m saying at all. Neither of these locations are temporary and they are most definitely connected to the grid.

I’m not familiar with the Lone Tree temporary setup. Sounds like maybe it should have counted.

Supplemental temporary units like Barstow definitely don’t count as additional/new visits.

I’m totally open to the group clarifying or modifying the rules as the situation on the ground changes.
Lone Tree, CO #1 definitely is counted.
Agree on Barstow, CA SC.

Another one was Wausau, WI #1. Pallet setup, grid connected, counted in the game before it went away.

We more or less had a similar discussion regarding the temporary connections at Cedar City and St. George UT. They are both connected to the grid, so they count. Now, if a permanent connection is in the same vacant lot (Cedar City) or parking lot (St. George) then they will be considered the same location for future arrivals. But if the permanent installations happen to be elsewhere yet proximate to the temporary ones, then the new ones will be considered discrete locations.

I agree that hauling a diesel generator to a site to provide nonce charging should not be part of the game. The only situation that is murky for me would be if a grid-tied temporary installation only lasts a few weeks, like if Tesla decides to implement a temporary site in November just for the holiday crush and removes it in early January. While I do not recall Tesla doing this sort of thing in the past, it may become a future solution as more cars are on the road and perhaps a good data collection tool to see if a permanent installation is warranted in that particular vicinity.

only 2 this time, I have been living abroad for 2 months and returned just for the weekend. BTW I noticed the V3 cables are thicker than normal V3 at these two new sites. They were definitely V3 and liquid cooled, I charged at 200 kW, heard the pedestal fan spin up. Perhaps these are forward compatible with 300+ kW charging? Someone should take a picture of the cabinet sticker.

A day trip to pick up two firsts (with a trip to my dentist en route, in case you're wondering why the route is so odd):

1071. New Paltz, NY (first, after tes-s)
1072. New Castle, DE (first)
1073. Mount Laurel - James Fenimore, NJ

Finally took off on a real road trip.
We're taking a circuitous route from Toledo to Denver.
So far we've hit stop and go traffic in Chicago on a Sunday morning, a massive exodus of vehicles heading south on the interstate after the Ryder cup finished, and lots of Minneapolis traffic everywhere. Glad we were heading north with all the Ryder Cup vehicles heading south.
North Dakota and beyond tommorow.

I was #40 to pass 200 and have been hoping to be #30 to pass 300. Big jumps on the leaderboard like this are making me nervous.

We have a new badge - most superchargers per state visited. @Limited is the current badge holder.

The badge is awarded to the person based on the formula: US Superchargers Visited / States Visited
To be eligible you have to have visited at least 100 superchargers.

@bmah was the first (and only so far) to reach 100 superchargers in a single state (CA, of course!).

The ratio displayed in the table below is rounded, but the sort order is correct to 17.3 decimal places.

2pm on a Saturday, my wife says to me "I could go for some of the chowder in LBI". LBI, or Long Beach Island, NJ is about a 2 hour drive from our house. In my head I think, that's 4 superchargers I could hit on the way.

The chowder was really good.

A month into ownership, I ask: Is this normal? lol
Normal to the world? No.
Normal to this crowd? You bet! This crowd doesn't bat an eye over a several hours long detour just for chargers. Or bringing a toddler on a 4,200 mile road trip..

Continued trip westward today.
Visited 5 more - 4 in North Dakota, 1 in Montana.
What I didn't plan on was 100 degrees F in North Dakota near the end of September. In addition to the heat, there was a strong half-headwind (towards NE) in western North Dakota. Our dog did not enjoy the heat and wind.
