When I heard they were dropping "E" the first thing I thought was that they never really meant to do the "SEX" thing, and it was becoming a distraction. I saw some interviewers bringing it up with Elon. It wouldn't take long before you got really sick of the joke. Marketing 101 says you should fully own the message. So it is "SEX" because that is what you meant to do and you 100% own it-- its basically the basis of the first ad campaign later. Or you put a stop to it and drop it before it gets rolling too much.
 
Well, that's an idea. Let's call it the Galactica.

Elon is a Star Wars fan and names quite a few things "Falcon" after the Millenium Falcon but I take it Ford would have a problem with Tesla using Falcon too.

How about Landspeeder ? I wonder what George Lucas would think about that?

It would be nice to get a female sounding name for that car. Not too many letters. Can't wait to drive one.
