I would imagine it means nothing if you've already taken delivery. A phone call to tesla couldn't hurt though.

However just checked for a new MS 100d build on Canadian site and it’s the same $122k base and all upgrade costs the same.?
Odd. You would think an adjustment would first surface on a new build and then retroactively apply to existing orders.
Was your car an inventory model? And your specialist verbally said this? I’m Toronto based so would like to confirm this before finalizing a purchase next few days on an MX!

Just checked the Canadian inventory site...a lot of new inventory cars just showed up. 100D’s
I believe the one you have posted is the 3rd one in the pic?
Inventory cars are usually discounted to push for quarter end...not necessarily because the MSRP price is changing.

The canadian dollar has fallen over last few months, if they were adjusting for exchange rate shouldn't they be raising the price?
Ah, that must be the reason why. They gave me a VIN and the updated invoice yesterday.

As long as demand outstrips supply don't expect to see much in the way of price reductions. Tesla is reinvesting every dime and lots more into R&D and infrastructure. When people stop buying the cars, then it will be overpriced. Don't see that happening anytime soon.

From what I've seen, only a few bucks here and there on the top of the line stuff and end of quarter deals. When the tax credit goes away, that will be the real pricing test.
