Different homologation requirements? Could we be closer to UK or Europe spec making it easier to put us in line earlier? My vin came out within 4 days. Like most others I know about. I was told that despite the delay in pricing our cars would be coming out like the HK cars and at about the same time.

BTW to rate the Roadster over the 458. I'm speechless, now that RS6 looks much less attractive. Now to see of Tesla would help with trade in's to get rid of the Porsche
During the UK event over the weekend, Elon mentioned Australia and New Zealand in the same breath as upcoming markets for Model S.

The State govt discussion paper is now out. All of us need to make a submission. NSW only.
Following your interest in electric vehicle issues, Transport for NSW (TfNSW) would like to advise that the NSW Government has released a public Discussion Paper - Vehicle Registration Initiatives: Proposals for light vehicle registration reform in NSW – for community consultation. A Summary Paper has also been prepared.
The Discussion Paper and supporting materials (Information Sheets, Questions and Answers etc), as well as information on how to make a submission, are available via the Transport for NSW website at Stakeholder and community engagement | Transport for NSW.
Your comments on the proposed reforms would be most welcome.

Sorry. I thought Inside EVs got their site fixed well before I posted this link. Due to Heartbleed bug, hackers did something to their site that randomly made it redirect to those NSFW sites. Usually when I encountered the problem I would just close the tab, open the site again and it was all back to normal.

meloccom - interesting to see your VIN number. mine is 46612. i confirmed within an hour or two of the prices coming on line on the 29/5/14. Could we really have well over 300 vehicles from Australia? Or are there HK, Japan and China numbers in there too? I see you confirmed a few days after me.
