Whether it is +/- 5000 is irrelevant at the volume they are at.

It becomes relevant when the CEO writes,
“We have a shot at achieving our first 100,000 vehicle delivery quarter, which is an incredibly exciting milestone for our company!” and has been continually guiding 360K-400K for the year.

So, should we just be ignoring all guidances?

Not to mention the total fallacy that we have to stop economic growth to clean up the planet. You might as well say "Let's stop collecting trash, saving that money will be more efficient."

That's a very good point!

Trash collection is like a giant tax on our economy generally, and consumerism specifically. Just think how well the economy would perform if we didn't have this hidden tax sucking up consumer's expendable income! To add salt to the wound, the more you consume, the more trash collection taxes you owe! We should just stop collecting trash and let the economy blossom. Sure, trash will start to build up curbside into small mountains but it will be much cheaper to just run a bulldozer through periodically to keep the streets open. Nobody that matters uses the sidewalks anyway, so that's no big deal.

And here's the dirty little secret that the trash collecting NIMBY's don't want you to know: Trash naturally decomposes in the presence of sunlight and air and water! At no cost to the consumer! And without increasing our dependence upon foreign oil to truck the harmless trash to pristine wilderness areas which will also greatly benefit from stopping this wasteful curbside pickup. And the trash-collecting NIMBY's will tell you it smells bad. But, guess what, that is a completely natural smell and it's harmless to humans. As a side benefit, our feathered friends will help the process along and be better fed for it! And the good Lord knows our feathered friends can use all the help they can get, what, with wind turbines everywhere turning them into piles of dead carcasses they will appreciate a safe place to dine out when they are not being chopped up by the sinister wind turbines.

The trash-collecting NIMBY's will tell you that it's unhealthy to have piles of garbage in your neighborhood. But they conveniently leave out the fact that our bodies are wonderfully designed specifically to be able to resist diseases and that the body will naturally heal itself. While it's true that those with weakened immune systems might be impacted, the savings of not having to tax everyone to deal with it will more than pay for any harm done. It's simply not economically feasible to continue living at an acceptable standard of living if we have to truck all the beautiful trash away.

Tesla beats Spiegel's Q3 expectations!! Of course he's bullshitting his way around it.

A myopic focus on nuclear is a surefire way to ensure we don't decarbonize the world economy in 10 years. Exhibit A: Vogtle nuclear plant Units 3 & 4, on which work began in 2005, is unlikely to be in operation even by 2022.

Investing in new nuclear is a great way to delay the energy transition.
Interesting. So you think that wind and solar with storage can ramp faster than that? If so, then why does TSLA not have Freemont and Giga running entirely on solar? I'm not sure you are being rational here. TSLA can barely make enough battery storage for their auto manufacturing. And they make over hald of the worlds battery storage. Where would the other umpteen Terawatts some from?
