Yes but I needed the Y to be closer to the X (58” rear hip room) and not smaller then the 3. Where did it go? It’s wider than the 3, so how can it be narrower inside? Storage? Typo I hope?Looks like it's less than a 2" difference.

Doubt it's a typo. Maybe it comes from the shape of the car.Yes but I needed the Y to be closer to the X (58” rear hip room) and not smaller then the 3. Where did it go? It’s wider than the 3, so how can it be narrower inside? Storage? Typo I hope?
Yes, I can fit four of me easily. Head room not an issue, not spacious leg room in the back, but better than M3.If you set the driver’s seat for your height, is it still comfortable behind you?
Screens are identical, just measured each one.@SilverSmith is the screen larger than the one on the Model 3? There were rumors that it would be 17" instead of the 15" on the M3
Seems a bit quieter, but so subjective. Tires, speed, highway type. Road noise is one of my minor gripes with our M3.Congratulations SilverSmith! They look very sharp together.
Have you noticed a difference in road noise compared to your Model 3?
This isn't true, I just measured and the arm rest to arm rest of the second row seat is exactly 51.25" in both cars. I expected the Y to be larger, but nope.Whattttttt? So disappointed if true, I wanted the Y to fit my 3 kids across the 2nd row. What happened, how can it be smaller than my 3???
Thanks for the intel, I can’t wait to test drive one. I will bring all my car seats lolThis isn't true, I just measured and the arm rest to arm rest of the second row seat is exactly 51.25" in both cars. I expected the Y to be larger, but nope.
Your car seats might sit up above the arm rest, so maybe you can claim a few more inches, but it depends on the shape. Good luck, fun car, so similar to M3 driving experience. Thanks for the intel, I can’t wait to test drive one. I will bring all my car seats lol

Any news if the Y comes with Homelink from factory or we have to buy if for extra $300?
And....Does it have the Pedestrian Warning Spaceship Sound Effect...
Dude I wasn’t going to go there but I just sat in my garage for 15 minutes before I figured out this was removed (my 2018 M3 and 2020 MX has it). Soooo disappointing. Still coming to grips with the fact that this $75K car can’t open the garage. Poor form said:Wow, that sux.
I bet it has the Spaceship Sound FX to remind Pedestrians that aliens are arriving, right?

Agree it’s subjective but my PY is def louder than my RWD3.

I’ve really been dying to know how much taller the seats in the front and back are now since the seats in my 3 are too low for a comfortable long ride. Would you mind measuring the seat height from the interior floor of the car to the top of the seat (ie where your butt goes) for both front seats and back seats? Thanks!Your car seats might sit up above the arm rest, so maybe you can claim a few more inches, but it depends on the shape. Good luck, fun car, so similar to M3 driving experience.
Since the height is adjustable, that depends. But here they are in the lowest position.I’ve really been dying to know how much taller the seats in the front and back are now since the seats in my 3 are too low for a comfortable long ride. PS would also be great to compare with same measurements for the 3

Thanks - so about a 3.5 inch difference?Since the height is adjustable, that depends. But here they are in the lowest position.
M3 Driver seat is 7 1/4", MY is 10 3/4". Floor to top seam of seat.
How about the back seat? I found the 3’s back seat way too low for my 6’2” frame.Since the height is adjustable, that depends. But here they are in the lowest position.

I didn't see one, but you would likely need to tear into it to know for sure. I show a picture of the inside in a few posts. Thanks for posting these pics SilverSmith!
If you get a chance, could you look behind that hitch cover and see if there is a plug for trailer light wiring? That would verify that towing is in the plans... Thanks!!!
