I've been trying to locate recommendations on all the forums, with little luck.
There are lots of solutions elsewhere on this forum, none of them completely satisfactory.Ranger showed my a place at the base of the rear lower control arm at the connection point to the axle assembly. Use a rubber pad on the stand.
The manual suggests rotating the tires every 5,000 miles. Two questions:
1) Are most of you rotating at the 5,000 intervals?
2) SvC center or general purpose tire shop?
What brand of tires did your vehicle come with?I rotate every 5k-6k. I have 46,400 on the original 19" tires so that strategy is working. I use a local tire shop. $20 and its close and they get me in and out. My SC flat out told me early on that they didn't want to do tires unless I couldn't figure it out otherwise.
Just checked my tires after another 10K miles. All 4 are wearing evenly (inside/middle/outside). Will leave them alone.
Only reason I've ever heard for not using anti cease grease on wheel studs is if an impact wrench is used to tighten the nuts, you increase the chance that you could over torque the nuts.Why shouldn't the wheel studs be greased?
