The vehicle description is full of options the vehicle doesn't have and no mention of it being salvage, not a good sign

I don't think the salvage title is that much of a problem if the car drives fine and is in good condition otherwise.
Given the cost to repair, I know from experience that insurance companies are VERY QUICK to declare a total loss, even if the damage could be repaired and the car put back together fine.

The main issue is whether or not Tesla has blacklisted the car. There have been cases where people bought salvage titled Roadsters at fair prices, then discovered that Tesla would not touch the car or sell parts for it. Would not be a fun position to be stuck in.

You buy this car, your on your own. Unless you have another roadster to order parts for. Then you can get the SC to answer your calls. Looking at what was done and the result of the repair I wouldn’t give it a seconds thought. It’s a good car for the money if the ESS checks out, it was replaced in 2014 for another one, no idea of what type, pretty sure it wasn’t from Tesla so I assume a used pack? That’s the only pause for thought.

There is a Tesla procedure to try and recover the ESS, if it isn't too badly bricked.... The question is how low is the current state of charge... It could be saved, perhaps...

I wonder how many of the 44 bids have thought '39 miles left, I can recharge that' or are buying it in hopes it will magically recharge to full capacity. The only thing they had to do was keep the battery charged, not sure I would buy a car from someone who couldn't even do that.

"This 2008 Tesla 1.5 Roadster is in excellent condition. Tesla (Portland) has just completed (1/11/2019) a 12 month 12000 mile annual service on this car.

The battery capacity is in very good condition with 160+ miles on Standard mode charge and 200+ miles on Range mode charge. Per Tesla owners manual instructions, when not in use, the car is always plugged in for self monitoring and battery health functions.

The car drives perfect. Front end is very tight, brakes are in very good condition, all the electronics function as they should. Tesla installed JVC CD/Navigation.
It has the full Star Shield paint wrap and looks very nice. No dents and only very minor blemishes. This car has never been in an accident and has a clean Car fax report.

The Interior is free from any rips or tears. Overall, very good condition. Original Tesla floor mats are included.

The TPMS (tire pressure monitoring system) has a low battery and 4 new replacements were ordered and will be included with the car. Also, a right rear wheel center cap is missing but was ordered at the time of its annual service and will be included with the car.
