I suspect tesla have been bitten with the Minimal Viable Product craze that was around a while back - Produce *something* and you can call it done, don't care whether it's useful or not.. you've checked the box and can move on.

So I’m trying to update my software.... I’m on 2020.32.5 is that the latest in UK? I saw the title of this and felt way behind.... and lots of you are posting about 2020.36.10 but potentially we just are!

I don’t have a drive with wifi but tried connecting here at office and car isn’t prompting a download - haven’t updated since collecting and wondering if I’ve missed a trick?!

My car thinks it knows the speed limits but it’s not brilliant at it - especially around the edge of glasgow where is so variable!

Mine was on 2020.32.5 until yesterday morning, when it updated to 2010.36.10. I drove around 140 miles yesterday and didn't really notice any changes, TBH. The car didn't seem to be giving any indication it was reading speed limit signs, as the speed limit indication still seemed to be much as it was before, usually lagging a bit behind the signs.

Ahhh ok brilliant - so I’m not totally behind! Phew! I thought maybe I was a few versions behind while it was in transit! Like an access point ordered from amazon they arrive a few versions behind!

In your experience, does the south of England get updates at different times to Scotland? Or do you find the UK get things all at once?

no difference ... but the uk doesn't get software "all at once"... some will get it much sooner than others. The cars are updated in batches apparently but how a "batch" is defined nobody knows!

There’s twitter chatter of it bringing the model Y back in sync with the S/X/3 branch - may just be that.

I too hadn't noticed any changes in 2020.36.10, until last night, when I did a soft reboot and as soon as the car rebooted, it was able to see and display speed limit signs in the visualisations.

Thanks, I'll give that a try later and see if it changes anything.

I had no speed limit signs either, hard reboot and soft reboot didn't work. As a final try I went for calibration for the camera and that's did the trick.

not seen 26.11 yet but after a few days on 36.10 had a completely blank screen as I opened the car up to check for updates.
brake pedal reboot was needed to bring back to life.

CTRL-ALT-DEL is alive and strong

I haven’t had problems waking the car up with the app, but for the first time today passive entry don’t work with my phone. Attempting to open the door just told me to use the keycard on the screen. Strange.

I had that. I found that signing out and back into the app got it going again

On your phone, try flicking bluetooth off and on.
