Give Tesla a call as this is almost certainly to do with the NEC collections. The person I spoke to last night booked me in to the Birmingham dealership instead. She said that the error is because someone sent out the text messages before the change from NEC to dealership had been made on their systems.Welp, 8AM has come and gone, and still "There are currently no appointments available" when clicking the delivery link.
Somewhat annoying as the delivery text warns that we need to select a date/time within 1 day of receiving the text. Going to try live chat/phone chat.
Am I right in thinking this is only affecting customers who chose NEC for collection?

I completely forgot to ask about that (was too excited about receiving the text message!) but they didn’t tell me it and it’s not in my account so can only assume it will be given a couple of weeks before delivery.For those that received the text re delivery date, did you receive your registration number as well? Just wondering how much time one has to organise insurance
Did the leasing company have to give Tesla permission to speak with you about the order?mine is a company car lease, but I requested collection from Bristol, and when I checked my RN with customer service at Tesla, they confirmed that is on my account so maybe you can ask the lease company?

Did you get a text with your RN in from Tesla around your order date?I haven't been able to get any information from Tesla as i'm on a lease too - they've said before they need authorisation from leasing company to discuss any further. I ordered 23rd August and haven't heard anything thus far

I wouldnt worry! As long as you got the RN text it means the order is started and you should get a VIN Text and then Collection/Delivery text. However I’ve seen here that some owners have used their VIN number to insure their Tesla’s instead although I think this was only Direct Line.
I went for southampton thinking it might be better than having car trailered to London somewhere, no VIN yet so not direct comparison to you.Has anyone with a Southampton pick up had a delivery/collection text? I've had the VIN now for just under a week but haven't heard a peep from them about collection... whereas a friend who has ordered near enough the same car has, but they're collecting from Bluewater I think.
Finally managed to speak to someone this morning and apparently I had been assigned to Birmingham even though I had put Brent Cross. Apparently Brent Cross is no longer available.No - I chose Brent Cross and am in the same boat.
