Vendor Unplugged Performance Refresh Fascia Upgrade

Some of you may be familiar with Tesla's Veterans Project, an outreach program to help US military veterans seeking employment after completion of their service to our country. A few months ago, they reached out looking for a way to update their 2013 Model S to have the look of their newest, facelifted cars. Since the new parts cannot be easily retrofitted to an older vehicle, Tesla saw our Refresh Front Fascia as the best option to pair with the new custom digi-camo vinyl wrap for its Memorial Day 2017 "refresh" debut.

We were truly honored that Tesla chose our Fascia to outfit their car, and jumped at the opportunity to sponsor and help a great cause. Here are a few photos of the finished car. Much respect goes to SS Customs in Redwood City, CA for their incredible vinyl wrap!

What, if anything, does your refresh fascia do to the aerodynamics of the car? Keep it the same, improve it, or no effect either way? Have you actually tested it in a wind tunnel?

The aerodynamics are modeled off of Tesla's OEM design. We have not reported any detrimental effects to range or performance in our independent and customer real world testing.

How doesn't this new bumper work with the rectabgar AP1 sensor in the bottom mesh? Is that particular area identical in size?

So far I've heard of pre AP1 Teslas being worked on for the fascia refresh...what about for 2015/16 models with the AP1 suite?

Some of the pictures above are cars with AP1. The grille where the Radar are placed is moved to the new front.

The sticking out parking sensors must be wrong install/brackets use.
Sensors dont stick out like that on my car with Unplugged refresh Fascia Upgrade

The car above is an early 2013 and came to us with aftermarket parking sensors so we simply just swapped them over to the Refresh.

Everything transfers directly over from your factory bumper including the lower mesh and all sensors.

So all lights, hardware, sensors and emblem transfer and retain their original positions.

Some of the cars shown in this thread are '15 and '16 AP1 cars. The Refresh works on any pre 2016.5 Model S.

This is a 2015 for reference

Couple of questions:
1) In Canada (Toronto), who would be able to install this? Are there recommended or affiliated shops that would do it correctly?
2) Does installation of this front fascia void any Tesla warranties or cause any problems with Tesla if any work on sensors or anything needs to be done?

Thanks . The front looks amazing and I'd love to be able to get it put on.

Thanks for asking and glad you like it! To answer your questions, any competent body shop should be able to install the fascia pretty easily (we provide very complete and comprehensive installation instructions). As a result we've had first time installers in many countries reach a great result on their first try.

As to the warranty,we have over 100 refreshes on cars and we've been providing our parts for years around the world. Over those years we've had many client cars go in for routine maintenance at Tesla and nobody has reported any void of warranty. We engineer our parts to attach in a factory way using factory attachment points and to not interfere with any factory functionality.
