My Android app just updated to the new one! Has anyone with vision updated that is still on 4.21.3?

So this may be weird, but I just took delivery of my car a few days ago. I was curious what version I was on (haven't done a manual upgrade or anything) and I am on 2021.11.103. Dunno if that helps add a point somewhere or not.

Don’t know how to take a photo and use a basic paint tool to blur that out and wipe meta data? Literally a 3min operation.

And so this is a 2021 M3 Vision only you say with 3.104? So you just picked this up recently your car and took delivery? Not a May, June , July M3 delivery?

I took delivery on 8/25. I was on 2021.3.106.5 at delivery. Now I’m on 2021.32.10. It’s a midnight blue metallic 3P, built in the second week of August 2021, thus it is Vision only. It has full FSD and white interior. And I’m using a five year old iPad that doesn’t have easy access to “basic paint tools,” and you either can take my word for it, or not, your choice. The car updated last week. That’s a fact.

Ok then^^^ gheez don’t own a cell phone? My kids can tell you in 20 seconds how to take a photo and edit the thing and upload it to social media or online. But if you are not technically proficiently I don’t hold it against people. Sad part is a lot of people come on these forums spouting stuff about their car and software with no proof. The typical proof is a photo and more simple details. It’s part of the fun of this car too.

So I seem to be one of, or the only person this forum, that has identified what months are stuck in 4.21.3. It seems as I’ve posted on other threads that May, June and July for sure are stuck on this firmware. Now August cars are coming with an entire new build and numbering.

Unless somebody else in this thread can show otherwise then back to scratch. Mine is end of June build. Look in Sig.

I’m not getting my hopes up for The Button access and/or FSD beta access come next weekend. Tesla hasn’t shown any indication of confidence in these Vision vehicles yet. Maybe that’ll be different since FSD beta doesn’t use radar; that’s my only sliver of hope.

Oh, cool. I hadn't seen anyone list a .3.x version lower than 104 and it's interesting that it updated same day. I wonder if .3.102.6 didn't have the cabin camera yet and they wanted all of us with the cabin camera on?

Am I able to cover the cabin camera and still use Autopilot? I do know it alerts me like immediately if I look away from the windshield.

I think my car came on the 2021.3.102.6 version. It didn't update to it.

I have a cover on mine and haven’t seen any issues. Just the steering wheel nag every so often

Seriously, when car wash mode came out I was going to wait until I got a car wash. That was 3 washes ago. I just wish I knew what the hold up is. Here's hoping we get an update Friday.

Maybe all will all come to the Vision fleet next Friday, when the version with that “Download FSD Beta” button is purportedly to arrive….

They seem to be on a different branch than the newer vision-only cars. Some have speculated that, because of the chip shortage and rush for deliveries, they have a different configuration.
