I did a custom order.I'm curious, for the folks that received VINs quicky, did y'all do a 'custom' order or pick from inventory?
Just curious why some have moved way more quickly than with others.

Unless you have a desirable decent value vehicle they're really confident they'll profit on or you really need the tax deduction(if Kentucky does that?) then it's pretty unlikely tesla has a better trade in offer for you unfortunately.MYLR

We sold ours to Carvana which gave us pricing at the higher end of the KBB trade-in value. If you trade in at Tesla, you might get a break on your MY’s sales tax. Also some states give additional rebates for trading in an internal combustion engine car for an EV.MYLR

I must be a lucky one or a Silverado trail boss is a vehicle they know they will make money on. Their offer was $600 over estimate and $300 over carvana so in the end all pretty close. We sold ours to Carvana which gave us pricing at the higher end of the KBB trade-in value. You do realize that the Tesla computer just matches a buyer to a vehicle? It could be a car that was built a month ago or one which was built this morning. Having a "custom order" doesn't mean they won't match you to an inventory vehicle. You got a custom order VIN on the same day you ordered? Dang, that’s fast. Hoping to get my VIN soon.
Your post yesterday said you were waiting for your VIN. You must have one now, or you wouldn't have an actual value on your trade.I must be a lucky one or a Silverado trail boss is a vehicle they know they will make money on.
