Nothing against you and congrats on your new Tesla. I personally think it’s not fair for Tesla to allow users change models(LR-P, I can understand changing interior/wheel/tow stuff like that) and keep the same spot. I feel like tons of buyer who had MYP ordered right from the start got push back by a lot!

Never received vin or any follow up. So i texted 02/27 asking them what's up. They replied with standard they'll reply when vin is assigned.

Received a vin within 20 mins and scheduled delivery date of 03/02 - 03/04. Picked it up 03/02.

No offense at all. Was shocked it played out the way it did. Was fully anticipating heading to the back of the line when I changed it. Was worried it was a reject but confirmed build date was same as VIN notification date.

Congrats on the new car. I'm also in NY, OD 2/4 on a red/white model. How many days prior did you get your vin ? I'm scheduled March10-31st but have yet to get VIN.
