What do you use your Frunk for?

It is really small for my taste. Please share with me the things you use it for.

I have an 85 and the Frunk is pretty big. Big enough for most of our Costco shopping trips. It makes it much easier to unload since our house door is by frunk.

Two 20kg bags of cow manure came home in my frunk yesterday.
I've never been happier to have a separate storage location in a car.

Backpack with emergency supplies, first aid kit, bottles of water, trail mix, energy bars, t-shirts, etc.
Fleece jackets.
Blankets.
Towels.

Charging cables and adapters -- CHAdeMO adapter, 50' 120v extension, 15' 240v extension, UMC. All except the J1772 adapter, which is in the car.

Other stuff also goes in there when on long trips.

Groceries when it’s 3-4 bags or less. The small space holds things in place while I drive. Also restaurant leftover food (doggy bag) while watching a movie or whatever. Nice to keep the smell out of the car

I keep all my adapters, extension cords, towels, a change of clothes and a rain jacket up front. things you should carry around but rarely use.

Sleeping bag, air mattress and air pump stay in the frunk. On long road trips I put the spare tire there also (it barely fits in my large old-style frunk). Don't use the frunk much since the trunk is more convenient to open and close.

HERE is an old discussion from the days when frunks were positively cavernous.

My wife still uses her enormous frunk (don't tell her I said that!) on a near-daily basis - hiking gear, biking gear, groceries, plants and potting soil, etc. It has been a long time since she has put a toilet in it, however. (See other thread).

In my newer S' small frunk, I keep "emergency" stuff - an emergency kit, tire patching equipment, charging stuff that I never have to use, etc. I almost never get in to it.

I keep a V-8 in my frunk. The most I've ever had in there is the day I took my avatar picture: two cats and a 1/8 scale V-8 engine.

This makes me want to throw a bottle of vegetable juice up there so I can show people "The V-8 under my hood"

I keep my unattached front license plate with zip ties looped through the holes in case I get stopped by a bored police officer so I can show him my plate in the hopes of avoiding a fix-it ticket.

On road trips the frunk is used to keep dirty clothes and sundry items that probably will not be used during the remainder of the trip. If I happen to go fishing and keep a couple, then an ice chest with the eviscerated fish is kept in the frunk to transport home for dinner.

Well, if you put something too large in the frunk and have to strap the partially open hood down with bungee cords then it will definitely affect the driving dynamics of the car. Clearly it’s an appropriate forum

Original S85 frunks are wonderful things.

We never use it anyway so I want the performance and range. No noticeable change in noise.

Always the groceries. They tend to fit nicely in there without moving around. Plus it never fails to freak out other people in the car park. The only downside is having to be cautious with closing it as the latch isn't really that friendly.
