It appears that nobody in Chicago knows proper care and feeding for their EV.
Not just Tsla.

Weird, I’ve never had any issues charging around Chicago. Is this a recent development?
Per usual, although the article I read in the NYT did mention Chevy Bolts as well.seems very blown out of proportion, media hit piece. Somehow it went from a supercharger issue to Teslas dont work in the cold.
Doesn’t seem like it. See these:seems very blown out of proportion, media hit piece. Somehow it went from a supercharger issue to Teslas dont work in the cold.
https://www.uber.com/us/en/drive/vehicle-solutions/hertz/ has a learn more link that leads to https://www.uber.com/us/en/drive/vehicle-solutions/hertz/tesla/.No offense, but using an EV as an Uber/Lyft vehicle probably isn’t a good proposition in Chicago winters.
Terrible idea to use EVs as ride share at this point in time. Maybe in 10 years when there's 10x more L3 chargers and almost everyone has overnight parking with L2 charging.https://www.uber.com/us/en/drive/vehicle-solutions/hertz/ has a learn more link that leads to https://www.uber.com/us/en/drive/vehicle-solutions/hertz/tesla/.
Also learned of https://www.axios.com/2024/01/16/uber-tesla-incentives-data, the other day.
Has Tesla commented on the freeze issue?
1. Was it the cars wouldn't charge because they didn't pre-heat the batteries?
2. Was it the Superchargers that didn't work?
3. Did any Tesla's not Start or Drive or was it simply the charging issue?
4. Did anyone with home chargers have issues?
