How do I put this panel back?

I went by the service center today. You have to move the rubber gasket out of the way to keep it from getting under the trip piece as you push it into place. Once he did, it snapped back into place.

Mine is loose. I can't figure it out, either.

    FSD Beta v11.x

I just added FSD and have v11.1 (2023.20.9). I would like to have Autopilot > Offset set to FIXED but the choice is greyed out and set to PERCENTAGE. The Set Speed setting, directly above, is also greyed out on SPEED LIMIT. Not sure if that is related. Am I missing some setting or is this...

PPF & Ceramic costs and products

I haven't had any problems with the PPF or ceramic. Haven't given my car a good wash in a while, either. Just strayed it down occasionally throughout the winter.

Not sure if posted, Finland customer blows up Tesla over battery replacement cost.

Anybody see how many miles the car had? All I've found is that it was a 2013 Model S that was out of warranty. How long was the battery warranty on the 2013 Model S?

Interpreting the Energy -> Trip Screen

6%. 26% predicted to 32% actual. I don't know what was different. Here's the data on the drive from TeslaFi.

Interpreting the Energy -> Trip Screen

We were navigating to a SuC. We arrived at 14%. On the outbound trip it predicted 26% and we arrived at 32%.

Interpreting the Energy -> Trip Screen

It was cold, and we didn't precondition as we weren't on a charger before departure. The first two miles of the trip were descending a steep mountain road. Could initially underperforming the estimate be due to running the heat and heated seats at the beginning of the trip and the unconditioned...

Interpreting the Energy -> Trip Screen

Let me try to clarify my question. Why do I have both lines (green and gray) on the graph in the FUTURE? I'm only 7 miles into the trip but the green/yellow line continues all the way to the end of the trip. Should it only be the gray prediction line in the future and both lines in the past...

Interpreting the Energy -> Trip Screen

I took the attached picture on my first road trip (M3LR). This was at the beginning of the return trip. The destination was a Supercharger. Why did I have a full green/yellow line in addition to the gray line? I thought the gray line was the prediction and the green line was my actual...

    Supercharger - Pigeon Forge, TN

I charged once at this SuC on Wednesday afternoon, the day before Thanksgiving. There was a lot of activity at the SuC but I don't think it exceeded 50% capacity in the ~45 minutes we were there. Our charging session was 38 minutes as I was charging up to 90% to have running around power for...

    Supercharger Station Price Increases

How are the per-minute SuCing rates prorated as your charging speed ramps up then back down again during a single session? Is it per minute? I've only SuCed twice but don't see any details as I'm using free referral-code miles. Once those are gone, is there a breakdown on the time at each...

Discussion: Floor Mats in Model 3

Just back from a small Thanksgiving road trip with my Teslashield mats. Didn't once think about the mats because they didn't move, feet didn't catch edges, didn't show any flaws or gaps, etc. They did their job without creating any annoyances. (I had been catching my foot on the inside edge...

I didn't realize the the 'shroom was walkable from the Superchargers. Looks like just a 1/2 mile with sidewalks. That'll work perfectly. Thanks! That explains why I couldn't find it. Thanks!

Any recommendations for restaurants while charging at this location? I thought someone mentioned a pizza place earlier in the thread but can't find it on Google Maps. Anything else good within walking distance?

    Vendor TeslaShields update #10

My Model 3 interior mats arrived today. Frunk/Trunk arrives a couple weeks ago. The label was printed last Friday and UPS first scanned it on Monday. The rear mat was wrapped around the two front mat, like a taco shell, which prevented the crease that some had complained about earlier. Order...

PPF & Ceramic costs and products

Picked up the car today. It looks fantastic. Very shiny. I'm looking forward to see how easily it cleans up once it gets dirty. Very happy with the service at Lux Auto in Hendersonville.

    Charging MPH Display?

Thanks. I wouldn't have thought of that. I switched to % charge display as soon as I picked up the car as that seems more useful than the EPA range remaining.

How do you get the MPH display to show on the charging screen? Mine shows kW, Kwh, A, & V. No MPH.

PPF & Ceramic costs and products

The prices I listed in post #15 were for full-front PPF. I'm paying an extra ~$600 to add the rocker panels (lower-sides between wheels) and behind the rear wheels. Full-car quotes ranged from just under $6,000 to $10,000. More than I wanted to pay. The prices for ceramic coating are for the...

I took delivery of my car today. I'm scheduled to drop it off on Monday for the PPF and Ceramic. I chose Lux Auto in Hendersonville. It was a difficult choice between them and the Madd Tinter. I spent a lot of time researching Xpel PPF vs. Ceramic Pro PPF but didn't find much. I concluded...

Nissan Leaf to M3 Transition Guy Needs Moral and Emotional Support and Advice on LR vs SP

The way I look at the range difference is that, on a road trip, you want to keep your battery in the range where it charges the fastest to minimize the time you spend at the Supercharger. The LR has a range of 353 miles. You aren't going to drive 300+ miles between stops but that range allows...

I don't know, but I'll ask. Auto Armor is less than two miles from me so I plan to go by and ask why they're so much more expensive. Also planning to visit the Madd Tinter.

I will have a 14-50 receptacle installed before my car is delivered. Can anyone give me some guidance on how high the receptacle should be placed? I'll have the receptacle on top, mobile connector below, and the cable organizer, to hold the coiled charging cord, on the bottom. How far above...

PPF & Ceramic costs and products

I have been reading about PPF and ceramic coatings but haven't decided if it'll be worthwhile for me. There's a business near me that I used to remove badly-applied window tint on a used Mazda I bought a number of years ago and I was impressed with their operation. I asked for quotes on...

    Which NEMA Adapters to carry?

I'm thinking I might go with carrying the included J1772 and 5-15 plus a 5-20, 14-50, and TT30. That's less expensive than the $220 bundle, adds the TT30 option, and gives a good amount of flexibility. In practice, I'll probably rarely use any of it! :)

    Which NEMA Adapters to carry?

This is certainly starting to make a lot more sense to me now. The TT-30 option makes a lot of sense as RV parks might be found in areas that aren't close to SuperChargers. Thanks, everyone!
