Model 3 can’t be chassis straightened after an accident either. Means it will be written off much more easily than a steel construction car.

Don’t forget that high rate DC charge is also not good for the battery. I.e. superchargers. So better to slow rate to 100% to avoid a supercharge en route.

Tesla superchargers and model 3 efficiency are a big advantage still. Imagine running a less efficient EV and charging up on the likes of InstaVolt at 45p/kw. Together with the anxiety that wherever you’re heading the chargers are actually working. Costs more than ICE with much less convenience.

Good point, the high level light is most effective. I always reverse onto my drive. It’s tight and I need to reference the edge of the dropped kerb. In the M3 the reverse lights don’t light up anything that I can notice, totally useless other than warning to others that I’m reversing.

If it’s any consolation, the reverse lights are completely ineffective on the alternative versions. I don’t think you are alone, I have seen other 71 plates with the original versions. Maybe start a poll thread?

Yep, very sure. On mine the outer C’s are brake lights. The inner bar is indicators. Two reverse lights. Quick pic to show you. Sorry about angle. Ignore: Pastasource has given much better pics. Those are same as mine.

I suspect it’s not the main battery you should be focussing on, after all, one charge in the middle of your absence will top back up enough to cover the phantom drain. The small battery will probably need a charge half way at the least, if not more often.
