I think you’re right, they’re clearly making a distinction between order date and purchase/registration date. I just picked up my MYLR and paid 53k before tax, 59k after tax. I am far below the msrp threshold.

The consensus here seems to be that if the lowest trim model (eg SR) qualifies, then all other trims will qualify as well.

just took delivery yesterday of MYLR white/white. I didn't find any significant misaligned panels or gaps on the exterior. I honestly haven't done a thorough look inside, but nothing glaringly obvious after sitting in the car for probably 1-2 hours.

We did the opposite trip over the weekend going from NorCal to socal. On my way back Sunday, we saw roughly 7 trucks full of new teslas heading down to socal.

It sounds like as long as you initiated the ach by the time you pick up the car it is ok? Not so much that Tesla needs to have received the amount? I just got a vin last Friday with pick up Tuesday. I’m being told ach will take 3-5business days which will be after my pick up.

I waited for a vin before contacting tesla. They actually reached out to me via text the morning after vin was assigned and I completed the change over text. It was a very fast process. I already had preapproval from my credit union that I signed up for as soon as I was a week away from my EDD.

There really isn’t a formal accept vin process. They simply assign it to your order. The default is that you pick up the car you are assigned. People do reject the car/vin for various reasons, but there is again no button for this, you will need to call into tesla to get this done. Too many...
