I am actually thinking of upgrading my 3 to Y. That's sad not able to transferring EAP myself. IMHO, EAP or FSD is just an app on a hardware platform, app goes with the owner not the hardware assuming hardware supports the app :)

Found it last night: go to driver profile screen and tap the human icon next to the phone name. This resets the relationship between driver profile and the phone .

This is the behavior when connecting through wifi. You are probably further away from the car. If you get closer to the car, the connection mode will be switched to Bluetooth and you can see two buttons at the bottom.

If the schedule is set to leave at 8am and the hydro rate changes to peak at 7am. What time does the charging stops, 7am or 8am? If it stops at 7am, which source to use to keep the car warm from 7am to 8am, live electricity or battery? -- Edit, actually just found another thread on the same topic.

For the record, on my September’s road trip, I did 3 times of 100% super charging. All showed 471km. Lost another 12km in three months!

This is amazing. You must be extremely lucky getting an awd that has more rated range 525km than specs 499km.

When in caraoke mode, the mic doesn't pick up the singing voice. Is this expected behavior or do I have to buy a USB microphone? If just the background music, there are tons in spotify. What's the point of creating a dedicated caraoke mode?

I would think the battery for the first batch awd is probably under capacity. It never truly reached the advertised 499 rates range.

Reading my posts online, not sure if there's a pattern: the first Canadian batch of Dual Motor delivered Jul 2018 to Dec 2018 seems having some sort of battery quality issue. Battery health drops 6-9% of rated range after a year of use - meaning 100% charging stops at 460 plus minus km area.

Checked this morning dual motor 363km at 80% after battery calibration. One year old.

I would definitely slow down entering the merging lane and wait for the T to pass by :) The key is to slow down early.

Let's do a comparison: I bought model 3 AWS default configuration (black, 18 inch, EAP, 499km, Oct delivery) for $76k pre tax pre doc. It takes another $2600 to FSD. So total cost is $78,600. Today model 3 same configuration with 523km FSD is listed $74,400. So effectively it's $4,200 drop...

The front motor is smaller than the rear one. Maybe that’s why it’s rear biased. However we are looking at a disruptive ev design... there is mechanical torque distribution system other than two individually computerized motors.

For model 3, the snow tires were bought directly at tesla's website. Didn't pay attention to the brand :) For RX350, they are Hankook iPike tires.

If the car is in deep sleep, regardless model x/s/3, the unlock button on the charger doesn't work. However, the wake timing of model x/s/3 are different so users will have different experiences. Model 3 seems having the most frequent sleeps according to its unique software.

I switched back to km to check the range and switched again to battery icon - the key is to keep the battery icon when the car is being charged. By the way, I didn't see the improvements from 36 to 39.7, or from 39.7 to 42.3.

Did a reset charging from 5% to 100% but no effect. Changed the display mode to battery instead of km, the rated range went all the way from 470+ to 493+km and stayed there for the past three days ... what type of software is this?
