the last straw for me was when BMW decided to abandon early i4's that came with iDrive 8, preventing them from upgrading to the much better 8.5 system (which is still worse than Tesla lol)

yeah I spoke to the delivery center employee in person, but that was in 2018 before the App had messaging.

my theory is that VIN assignment and transport is bottlenecked at the local delivery centers output. car gets produced (not assigned) > local delivery center goes down their list of assigned buyers to their location > local delivery center checks for schedule and parking lot space > VIN...

I don't think youre gonna get a good enough estimate from anyone because it varies. My assumption is when you have a VIN, your car is just waiting for transport truck space and possibly parking space at the receiving service center.

I have llumar air 80 on all my glass except the front door windows. its definitely clear. you won't notice it at all, Ive had air80 on all my cars windshield with no problems on my front doors I have llumar ctx50, so it matches the rear doors better.
