anyone have a good understanding of what sorts of exterior/interior things one would need to do to increase longevity of the car’s aesthetics?

Eg. Some mentioned coats, paint protection, etc.

Is it necessary? How much does it usually cost?

Most cars on the sheet have gone from vin to date of delivery in less than 10 -15days -
pretty quick turnaround.

Tartaruga, do you have a friend who can put you temporarily on their insurance? You’ll pay them what it costs for a month if you have to.

Good Morning All! I went to the Temecula SC and test drove a Model 3 and a Model Y yesterday. I gave a thought to buying the Model Y for a brief second but then decided to stick it out and wait for my order. Driving the Model 3 was a dream compared to the Model Y (in my opinion). I'm so glad I did! Received my VIN this morning with the delivery dates of 2/22 - 2/28. Super excited!!

my 1/11 order has a EDD of 2/20 - 3/19 and it didn't change or push back this morning. this is giving me hope for a VIN soon.

Same.. hasnt changed yet. before this window of 30 days, I had a 2/10-2/24 window, so am hoping that shorter window earlier means that my 30 day window will be short

There should be an update at 7 am PST tomorrow of the new dates. Hope it get shorter to 2 weeks. It might be delivery around March 5. This week is what defines when we see the AWD first deliveries.

Wishful. CA March 5, other locations around the following days depending transportation. I think we will have production of AWD in week Feb 26.
