When did you get a new version? i did not get any notice of one.
What is your version number, please? Maybe I missed one...?
I never had an issue except for the occasional hangup. Killing the app and opening it again always fixed this though.
Still as sluggish to load as ever for me today. I generally use the Android version of the Energi app, which loads much quicker than the official Tesla one.
After the update, it won't connect if my phone is connected to WiFi. If connected by cellular date, it works fine. When on cellular, it clearly connects quicker. Unfortunate that WiFi is not working reliably.
New version is 2.78.160. It is still very slow to connect for me.
I can connect via WiFi, but it is slow. It sat on the red Teska screen for almost a minute before showing my car. I have not tried a cellular connection yet.
Mine seems a lot faster too. Even thought my car is set for all the power saving features. A few weeks ago it would not connect for the world.

Much faster now on my Nexus 6P but it's killing the battery, fixed one issue and created another.
yeah, I have this too, now I have tried is on wifi. Much quicker on cellular but takes an age connect via wifi.
My Android Tesla build is 2.7.8 160 in case others have different versions.
Another patch please tesla.
Works better for me with the patch. Much much better.
My app updated to 220.127.116.11 last night and now I can no longer connect over WiFi. 18.104.22.168 connected (albeit slowly) over WiFi for me.
With 22.214.171.124 it is much slower than the last update. What we gained we have now lost.

For as long as I can remember, my Tesla app on Android wouldn't connect unless I saw the red T on launching the app. In almost all cases, I would see the red T every other time I tried to launch it. If I didn't see it, I'd back out of the app to try again and would see it and would connect.
With the update I just installed, I've tried 5 times and each time I've seen the red T and connected to my car in about the same amount of time I'm used to seeing.

My phone went from fully charged to 21% in 3 hours this morning. Battery usage report showed Tesla app as the major consumer. Grrr.
I got high battery usage too, not as bad as others though.
