Any US Model 3 Performance deliveries in 2019?

Performance Blue/Black, Ordered Jan 22
VIN received today, K=2019 model, 23xxxx

I had no VIN, and called Tesla customer support planning to ask about EAP/FSD free/notfree/upgrade price, and turns out it now asks you for your zip code, and sends your call directly to your delivery center.
I was greeted by a Delivery Specialist at Fremont Delivery Center, and after chatting for a long time about my initial questions, I just asked him if there were any VINs available, and he said he'll look in the system. Half an hour later, he called back, and emailed me my VIN.

So... Everyone start calling Tesla?

That's quite a long time to get a VIN. What was the wait time when you ordered?

I called Tesla which routed me to my local delivery center, at which point my delivery specialist said he already told me I don't have a VIN yet, haha.

Registered here to give you white/white guys hope. .
I called in this morning 1030 EST. This time, my call was directed to the closest delivery center. This time I was informed my vehicle is en route and gave me a VIN number. I'm taking delivery in MD. Vehicle is currently in TN. Expected to arrive 3/19. No specific delivery appt yet.

Ordered 3/4
Model 3 Performance White/White
Given the VIN today when I called in (Not yet appearing on my account)
Delivery person expected vehicle to arrive to their delivery center 3/19. Showed the vehicle is currently on a truck in Memphis, TN.
I've updated the spreadsheet and will again when I receive a delivery date.
They're going to miss the "within 2 weeks" estimate, but not by much.

Congrats! What number did you call?

888-518-3752. It asked for my zip code after I got through the menu and directed my call to the delivery center. My previous attempts at getting an update did not redirect my call or ask for ZIP. I'm not sure if it is a global change or the redirect occurred because it knew my order state from my caller ID.

I am a LR RWD order holder, but I had the exact same experience yesterday, and I felt like its a major bummer, because I can't get ahold of anyone at my delivery center now, and before when I called, I was able to get someone from corporate on the phone.

That's great!
So what did they tell you about the whole pricing/free/notfree etc?

Talked to someone at my local DC, she said they are still being told 2-4 weeks.

I was originally assigned a 2018 VIN two days after ordering in January. But actually mainly due to waiting for previous P3D repurchase financials to clear out first, I had to pause my order until now.

If you did not have EAP, you get basic AP for free after delivery. If you have EAP, you get FSD for free after delivery. Nothing internally about this changing come Monday.
The "free upgrade" will not be on any official paperwork/window stickers. It will be a back-end software change to OTA into the car/myaccount after the fact post-delivery, so there is no way to make it official beforehand.

Thanks for sharing. I got something to that effect as well. However, I spoke to a few different folks. So some of them have told me to request for it once again during delivery and get a letter. It won't be in the final purchase order, but at least a letter.
I have EAP on my order, and I would like FSD. And the upgrade to HW3 that comes with FSD when they release it. So I want a letter if it is ever disputed.

Something really shady going on.. sadly.
When I got the call with the possible replacement car option, I specifically asked the gentleman two questions: 1) Is the VIN 2019? 2) Can you confirm this is NOT a demo car?
He said it was a 2019 VIN and NOT a demo car. After my OK he proceeded to match to said VIN.

I later receive the contract with a 2018 VIN and marked as "Service/Demo". The IDA now is saying also that I am no longer able to cancel my order because I had a VIN assigned.

Extremely shady practice. After they noticed that I was inclined to cancel, they misled me into accept a VIN when I clearly asked the question above. Just lost a lot of faith in the company. If you are in the same spot where I was.. on the fence about waiting with no ETA for VIN, please be careful when you get a call about a possible match. Make sure you get in writing all details before accepting it.

You can always return within 7 days if they sell you something that was not promised. I don't believe what they did was intentional, probably just chaos due to cost cutting to make the model 3 most affordable car.
