System is back up now. My car came back online sometime during the night. I saw my push notifications that charging started at 3:30 am CST and when charging finished about 1.5 hours later.

Doesn't seem like it was related to something intentional. And as a side note: I'm just thankful I wasn't out joyriding without my keys. This outage should serve as a reminder that things aren't perfect yet, and always keep your key handy.

Given potential uneven cell coverage, I'd not recommend relying on your cell phone as a primary method for starting the car.

Still not up for me. Electrek is reporting spotty connects. I saw early this morning 2 supercharger locations as completely full. VERY unlikely.
