WuWa still posts every weekend, and i've been skimming through them. Just nothing to report here. This weeks factory drone shot was a mostly empty car park with 80% black cars - so cars not for us.We don't even get drone videos of the Shanghai plant or dock any-longer.
Same build date for me. Morning Cherry ETA 05 Sep in Brisbane.Heard from a Tesla rep today that my M3 (OD 13/3 Build 11/8) is still on the ship to Australia. My delivery is supposed to be by the 9th Sept.
I think they are illegal in AUS so you probably don't want to go anywhere near them anywayAnyone have any advice on where best to buy a yoke steering wheel for the model 3?
That's where anybody you buy from will be sourcing them from anyway. ( the same factories at least ) Some blatantly just copy paste photos, others are a little more subtle and post real photoseems as aliexpress have 1000s of them, but I ain't going there.....
I can’t imagine they will be able to deliver by the 9th in Melbourne if it’s on that ship….but you never know.Same build date for me. Morning Cherry ETA 05 Sep in Brisbane.
Basically thisOr do they just give it to me and let me report any possible problems later?
Well, during delivery they tell you to take your time and find any issues, however if there are issues that come up after delivery, you have the option of contacting the delivery specialist or opening a ticket in the Tesla phone app and they will deal with your issue. If I'm not mistaken depending on the state (at least in QLD) if you are really unhappy with the car, you have a day or two to return it. Though probably then selling it as new on second-hand market would allow you to make a profit, so no reason to take it back...Basically this
You accept delivery before even seeing the car
I'd assume your car is on the Paglia especially with that delivery date?I can’t imagine they will be able to deliver by the 9th in Melbourne if it’s on that ship….but you never know.
Yes, im not saying you accept delivery and then it's all over and you're on your own but in terms of order of events, you accept delivery firstWell, during delivery they tell you to take your time and find any issues

There was another one of cars being loaded onto a ship, but since it's a ship I've never heard of and every one here is pro at tracking them, again not for us.
You ordered when Tesla was clearly forecasting August to November...I know they mean well, but when you’re led to believe it could be June and now looks increasingly like at least November or even later… it’s seriously bad.
We are very different people. The "it's worth the wait" messages from people I've shared this journey with sustain meLike a few others… I’m keeping out of here for September at least. No point in torturing myself reading of the unbridled joy that some lucky people are experiencing, and if I read any more “hang in there, it’s worth the wait” I’ll scream. I know they mean well, but when you’re led to believe it could be June and now looks increasingly like at least November or even later… it’s seriously bad. Good luck all in here, hope your car arrives soon.
Wrong, it was 5 - 7 month, that’s July- September, but was told “maybe even late June”. I’m not whining, as you politely suggest…You ordered when Tesla was clearly forecasting August to November...
Just relax, it will come when it comes, you get to start whining when its past the EDD window.

The latest video showed a small number of cars parked at the docks waiting to load onto a ship for (i think) Japan. This was said to be the last of the export cars for this quarter. From here on this quarter it's domestic production. Thanks for the update.
Why would the car park be empty, Isn't the factory pumping out 3's and Y's around the clock?
Was the same for me, too, even though I ordered in March. Hope to hear from you when things ramp up again likely in October.Wrong, it was 5 - 7 month, that’s July- September, but was told “maybe even late June”. I’m not whining, as you politely suggest…
