Feb 14 for a Red/Black RWD. Frustratingly, I was ready to order in mid-December but was advised by the Chatswood SA to delay the order as the vehicle would likely arrive while I was overseas for most of Q2. He called on 14/2 to say that from that day all new orders would be delivered in Q3. Didn't happen.
Feb 14 order also for Blk/Blk RWD. I'm fairly sure the EDD had just gone from 14-20 weeks to 5-7 months the day before we ordered. Coming up to 8 months in just over a week.... Still we wait...

Tesla delivered a total of 5969 vehicles for the month of September, of that total 4359 were MYs. As we now, the remainder were M3LR and M3Ps.

The next ship to dock are all MYs.

VFACTS September 2022 new-car sales: Tesla Model Y ranks third, Toyota has rare slip
so that means less than 4000 M3s in this quarter compared to over 5000 MYs. That is less than 4 days worth of production of M3s at Shanghai (~7700/week production capability for M3).

below extract from VFACTS data

H1 2022465704657

Aug2380~1000*3397
Sep~1600*43595969
Q3 2022~3980*53599370
*ignoring the S and X model sales as they would be very low compared to 3 and Y

Rang my SA a couple of hours ago hoping to be given a confidence boost that my RWD likely to arrive end of November. At least he was honest and said he didn't have any more information than me. That the EDD of August-November that was sitting on my screen was all he could tell me...depressing...Now wish I hadn't phoned 😢
