That's right, it's due to the shutdown of the factory in the first couple of weeks for upgrades

Though since they make like a 1000 Model 3-s a day, so if they switch to making AU RWD Model 3-s, they might get a few months AU orders filled in one batch if they run a couple of days for us so might also cover March-April with the February orders. Though that would depend on how much space on ships they have booked, so could be wishful thinking...

You have to remember ship space.

I should thank you for posting this personally Draco, I know I speak on behalf of everyone on here that are currently awaiting any morsel of information to help us in the waiting room of despair. This has helped so much to know that they care.

I'd like to join you but nearest SC is over 3000Klm away with no supercharging in between. If I go there in the Leaf they will probably give a delivery date I can't get back home in time for.

I think we all need to take a step back and spare a thought for our Kiwi neighbours. For the month of September they had 52 model 3's registered compared to 1502 model Y's with customers still waiting since February for there model 3.

Yet our early Feb orders are still awaiting? How is this different？I think it's just us ordering a bit more than them at that time?

Yeah I agree. It all depends on numbers ordered. If NZ ordered that same amount as Aus and only got 52 and we got 1500 thats bad. But the reasons there amount is smaller is they have less ordered then Aus. We are still in the same position on the queue
