Autopilot for HW2 rolling out to all HW2 cars today!

Our Model X with HW 2.0 received software update notification at 6:36 pm PST tonight. This must be it!...oh, and current FW version is 52.120.

What's taking so long!! Ha

Mine is still doing nothing there's no check for update feature, right? I wonder why it doesn't go to all the cars at once, but I'm sure there's a technical reason.

2 HW2 cars on the tracker have the update. The build is 17.3.2.

Sorry, went to dinner with fam, then swapped to the X, took a drive on local streets, then I-5, to test it out.

Confirmed, new FW is 17.3.2 ...pictures to follow in a few minutes.

Just updated my HW2 car - enhanced autopilot available, finally!

I did get a warning saying something like "driver assist features unavailable, contact service center if this problem persists".

Anybody else got that?

Probably need to drive for a bit to calibrate the cameras. If it doesn't, then you'll need to get the cameras adjusted.

I thought that when that was the case it specifically said that. I would guess he has a different problem. (Maybe he is one of the unlucky ones that needs the pitch of the front cameras adjusted.)

Just went for a drive. Happy to report cameras didn't need time to calibrate. Worked from minute 1. Assuming shadow mode calibrated them.

Will post detailed report soon.

TACC works fine just like AP1.0. Forgot to activate AutoSteer in settings when first took it out on local roads, but didn't get your message to visit service center if problems persist. Pulled over, put it in park, then turned on AutoSteer. Then the message was it wasn't available for the road I was on.

Then took it to I-5, activated AutoSteer successfully as soon as I dropped to 45 MPH. Automatically gave control back to me when I accelerated manually (podiatriclly) above 45...unlike my MS (AP 1.0), which allows me to go > max speed limit with AutoSteer when on a speed-limited road.

Just went to my garage again to check. Turned on the car and put it in drive, didn't get the warning this time. Hope it was a temporary glitch! (Don't want to go out driving in the rain as I just put on a layer of Klasse sealant that's still curing - I know, bad timing ).
