Looks like most of the the folks gettin VINs are those who reserved day 1. I reserved 7/28/17 so I’m assuming I got another month or so.

I reserved on 3/28/2018 and getting mine by end of the week, granted current owner and in california. So there is not only reservation date, but other factors. 10K AWD registered, so any time now.

I reserved on 3/28/2018 and getting mine by end of the week, granted current owner and in california. So there is not only reservation date, but other factors. 10K AWD registered, so any time now.

These and other posts make me think that the priority for AWD Deliveries is current owners first, then in reservation date order (not config), of course reflecting geography and configuration type batching (eg doing a bunch of Ps with white interior first).

I saw a ton of blue RWD model 3s in the Charlotte center on Sunday - aero and 19” wheels - I’m surprised you ain’t got it yet. They said they were doing 15 pickups per day...

These and other posts make me think that the priority for AWD Deliveries is current owners first, then in reservation date order (not config), of course reflecting geography and configuration type batching (eg doing a bunch of Ps with white interior first).

I think that "current owners" only got preference if ordered before the flood gates opened (when they opened ordering to all). As a current owner of a Model X, I specifically asked if I got preference when I placed my M3 order on 7/13/18. I don't recall the specific answer, but the general gist was "no longer giving preference to existing or prior owners.

Received VIN today (692xx) from my 6/26/18 AWD order, with estimated delivery the week of Aug 27th. Day 1 reservation from a current Tesla owner.

This more or less confirms reservation date priority. I reserved 7/29/17, ordered 6/30/18 and have almost the exact same config and also in Cleveland. So far I only have the original estimate of Sept-Nov.

This was my exact config til I changed interior to white. Gives me hope that I'm up soon.

If I were you I would be budgeting for only the $3,750 tax rebate.

I'd say 50/50 chances. It depends on your color choice and where you live a great deal; and nobody can accurately predict where it will land. Oct is incredibly unlikely, but maybe between Thanksgiving and New Years Eve!

About 5:30 EST. Was driving home in heavy traffic. But saw the call from NV so I had to take it. Ended up confirming my info and making sure my schedule would work for the delivery date. No way I wasn’t taking the call!

Congrats! And thanks for that info, I didn't know that the call would be coming from NV... I assumed CA.

Saw a user on reddit that was a day reservation holder but configured in mid-July. He got the VIN/ call/ delivery setup.

That basically confirms reservation time counts. I haven't seen anyone getting delivery notices that didn't have day 1/ early reservations

Yes, a current Tesla owner said that. Hence my belief that existing ownership still gets you to the front of the line.
