Where are you seeing those reports?
I lost my first commitment as well! I totally get it!Now seeing people reporting late October deliveries quoted.
At this rate, We'll be into November next week. My rate lock formally expires 11/3. Unbelievable
Horse - waterWhy do you keep mentioning SLC? If all their customer service people work in their office in Utah (which is actually located right down the street from me in Draper, UT, at the very south end of Salt Lake County) then they have about 1 rep per 5000 orders configured currently. It’s not huge and is known more for setting up home power and solar, then car customer service. My deliver center, which is up in Salt Lake City, is actually a small service center. Lately, they don’t even answer anymore if you call and select that you are inquiring about an existing order. Just goes to voicemail. I’ve hear people get their first calls from many locations, not just utah (801) numbers.
I have not seen that, although I am not doubting your reporting. Last I saw was first couple of days into Oct. but...Now seeing people reporting late October deliveries quoted.

They are up the street from you? Get in your car, set nav to their location and go. Everyone panicking and calling the service center 888 number, 20 min wait, spent CSRs and no satisfaction. I called where my car will be sold to me out of, 5 min call, 20 min wait and callback from their delivery mgr. YMMV. This is pretty frickin simple. Why do you keep mentioning SLC? I haven't mentioned ... but that's an adorable picture! Good luck on your car!Update: there is no update.
It’s not a walk in kinda place. Not even a Tesla sign out, but a bunch of destinations chargers and a few Tesla’s in the lot. I see several of them almost every week at lunch places and like I said, they say they cannot answer anything and do home solar and battery backups. They are up the street from you? Even if that is 100% accurate, that is still month 2 of the three month window. This is exactly in keeping with Tesla guidance. Now seeing people reporting late October deliveries quoted.

Congratulations!! And thanks for the update! As promised and to bring a little encouragement to those waiting - we picked up our new Tesla Model 3 at Dallas this morning - actually the appointment was at 10:30 am but we didn’t drive away until 12:30 - some of it was orientation but it took a while to finish the detailing. Very small pin prick damage to paint at the front which they promised to pay to have fixed but otherwise - this car is incredible and worth the wait.
Blue, RWD, EAP, Aeros - Ordered March 2018, Configured July, Financed August 5th, initial delivery scheduled August 28 but canceled and completed today Sep 13 - hang in there guys it’s real!
Congrats!!Well, Homeys.. We took delivery today in Devon PA.
It was supposed to be delayed by a few days - which would've meant we had to wait over a week until my wife got back from travel.
But when she called today to reschedule - the car was there and they said we could come get it today!
It was a smooth delivery, and I can't say enough about the overall purchasing experience in comparison to going to a car dealership.
Can't believe how quickly I'm adapting to all it's differences, center console and all. I think the only default I had to change was the regen braking to "low", but only because it's not what I'm used to. I'm sure I'll be fiddling with settings as I go. What a crazy car!
I can believe everything you said and do, but that doesn’t change the optics from those who have waited patiently and are new to the Tesla brand and family. It’s eroding a lot of that cult following they have in my opinion. Customer loyalty and satisfaction is important and shouldn’t be dropped entirely, unless of course Tesla is in bigger trouble than they let on.
I just want explanations as someone who’s dropped $3,500 on a car I don’t yet have, radio silence (and differing stories from clueless sales associates) is unacceptable.

To be clear, I was in no way attempting to downplay the poor customer experience and service many here have pointed out. I empathize completely with the frustration and desire for better communication and service. We're in this together.
