The car being delivered next to mine had the emblem. Mine did not. Didn’t check their VIN.

I gotta admit it looked better than I expected. Teensy bit jealous.

I could take it or leave it, personally. I guess that's the guy that has it saying NBD though, I might want it if it wasn't on my car. Seeing all the paint colors did make me second guess MSM though. My favorite I think is still white paint and white interior. My current car is white and so is my wife's though. First white cars we've ever had but still kinda boring seeing two white cars in the driveway.

Grrr...

I get to join the delayed delivery club. My car has not moved from the mid-west in the last week so my Monday delivery is off.

When it does arrive they offered me Tesla Direct but I'm only 20 mins from the SC so don't see any benefit with that. I'd rather have less handling of the car and the ability to inspect it in front of them.

Ordered October 27 (for a second time) after standing in line day 1 and asking for my deposit back after they said AWD would be later in 2019.

Edit button disappeared November 1st
Option for trade in and financing opened November 2nd

Configuration:
LR
AWD
EAP
Black Premuim
19”

Delivery date set for November 13.

No VIN yet, not one communication from Tesla.

Super excited.

Couldn’t believe it - kept thinking that for sure I would get a call that morning saying my car hadn’t arrived or had some issue - but actually got a confirmation call the afternoon before saying the car was there and bank loan payment was received.

Had a group orientation with another couple taking delivery of an obsidian black model 3. Car was in great shape - no issues that i could find inside or outside. Has been a blast so far - took first mini road trip to Athens Ga today !

I got very unexpected good news from Tesla Las Vegas today, my LR AWD will be ready for delivery on 11/24 in Chicago, after having just changed my MR RWD order to LR RWD on 10/25, not even a reservation holder-amazing how Tesla is really sticking to the 4-8 weeks they promised.

my UNEXPECTED delivery

I say unexpected because I canceled my order on Friday October 26th (placed original order on October 13th). I then subsequently contacted Tesla to ensure that they received my cancellation request and to also request my deposit refund. Days later my wife called again to once again confirm that the order had been canceled and to check on the refund status. We got assurance for a second time that the order was canceled and the refund would be coming.

Then this last Thursday (Nov 1st) I receive a completely unexpected call telling me my delivery date is scheduled for Nov 7th. What?? Excited!! So there I am securing Tesla financing Friday and arranging to move up my delivery date and picking up 2 days after receiving that call at 9am Saturday morning. Completely unexpected turn of events driving around town in my LR AWD.

Wife thinks that answering that we had opted to go with a different vehicle as the reason for our cancelation that Tesla then made this vehicle available to us sooner in an attempt to save the sale. Don’t know about that...

Surprising Fast delivery.

Test drove a Model 3 on October 27.
Ordered a AWD LR / Blue Exterior / Black Interior / 18" Wheels / EAP on October 29.
Edited the order on October 30 to White Interior.
Called on October 31 to verify the change had been received and the specialist said that a vin number had been assigned.
Delivered November 4 in Fremont CA.

Build date was October 22.

The San Luis Obispo delivery check list and input from this forum was pivotal in checking everything.
All the items on my punch list were corrected at the delivery center.

Kind of doubt it too. So you have the car now. How do you like it? Am curious why you cancelled your order after something like 2 weeks. And then why you decided to get the car after all. Probably more surprised by deciding to go through with it...was it non-buyers remorse that changed your mind LOL?

Reserved March 1, 2016, number 7 in line.
Held out for white interior (non performance)...

Finally pulled trigger (verbally with sales staff) Tuesday October 16 for dual motor, silver with white interior, 19’ sports.
Changed to white on white online, and formally submitted Thursday October 18.
Price dropped twice ($2500) in the days that followed (got new lower pricing)
Got VIN the following Friday the 26th.
Delivery scheduled for Saturday Nov 3rd.
Picked up right on schedule yesterday.

Less than 20 miles on Odometer, build date says October, 2018.

Came with Dual Motor badging. White interior is gorgeous!

Just as epic the second time around, and this car is so 2.0 compared to my 2013 S 85.

I got my VIN today, but no eta. When do they usually let you know when your vehicle will be ready? Also, my VIN is 94XXX, when was my car manufactured?

I was assigned my VIN on 9 October. The car's build date is 10/2018. The VIN is 94,xxx. There are contemporary cars being delivered with higher VINs, but the numbers are not sequentially assigned.

I was given my delivery date/time a few hours before I saw the VIN (it showed up a few hours later when my online account was updated with the MVPA), and I was contacted directly by the delivery/service center. Seeing as 'advisors' seem to be occasionally absent, I'd give the center a direct call and see if they know. If nothing else they can ping the car's location.

Blue AWD, Non-Performance, black premium interior, 18” aero wheels, no EAP.

We were torn between 2 completely different vehicles. A Mercedes Benz SUV or the Model 3. I was able to work an incredible deal on the MB and purchased. Canceled my Tesla order that same day and didn’t think twice about it despite seeing them everyday as I work within walking distance of the local Tesla delivery center.

I get that call from Tesla... can’t buy two new cars between the span of about a week right? That’s crazy talk! Well, crazy is loving that Model 3
