Can I Upgrade to Matrix Headlights for 2023 LRMY After Delivery?

I saw a thread here we were getting LRMY (not performance) 2022 late year with matrix headlights - likely due to supply chain constraints. That said, my question is, if I really want them, can I just pay to have Tesla upgrade them after I take delivery?

Guess I should just ask the shop, but I figure one of us here might have tried it at some point before, so figured I'd ask the community...

Thanks for the info. I've been a long TSLA for several years and am a fan of the cars and the tech. I'm new to posting here so will do my best at staying on point. I may see my fav headlights in our Cybertruck - who knows? Looking forward to that.

Those matrix headlight can be ordered at the dealership but I think they are like $3k so not worth it really plus install cost.

The only thing they removed recently is the geofence, and the reason could easily also be for the convenience of their service personnel (especially for mobile service) and not necessarily because they want customers accessing it. Toolbox automatically kicks it into service mode plus regardless...

I dont believe either were successful in changing out the headlights, and updating the gateway information that needed to be updated when they were changed (and it staying changed).

I dont think tesla is installing them on non matrix cars, which is this OP's question. If the car doesnt come with matrix lights, right now, you are not swapping them out for matrix.
