Thank you so much! Not really a clue, I don't work on the car ships, you can check the pacific pilotage website however which shows you when ships are being brought in/anchored/etc.

That's right. They're bringing it over at 830 am from the anchorage so my best guess is that it'll be unloaded tomorrow afternoon shift.
where did you get the site?
Wow, thanks for the link!! That's some useful info!!Not really a clue, I don't work on the car ships, you can check the pacific pilotage website however which shows you when ships are being brought in/anchored/etc.
No it gets unloaded tmrw afternoonyayyy 13 more hours until VIKING SEA gets unloaded
ahem.... I'm just gonna drop this here, lol.The good news is that the company that operates the two auto terminals also just happens to own the MORNING MARGARETA, which is carrying a large shipment of Tesla vehicles (including mine!).
(WWS Vehicle Services Canada is the operator of the two auto terminals, and they're a subsidiary of Wallenius Wilhelmsen, which owns an 80% stake in EUKOR, which is the company that owns the boat)
My personal guess is that VIKING SEA and MORNING MARGARETA will be unloaded one after the other, because of the fact that VIKING SEA is carrying such a small load of Teslas. And my hope is that because Wallenius Wilhelmsen owns MORNING MARGARETA, that they would give priority to their own ship.
If it was MY port, I would unload the VIKING SEA as soon as the strike is over, and (assuming the strike gets resolved tomorrow) get her out of there just in time for the arrival of MORNING MARGARETA, combining the two Tesla loads and putting them on the same trucks/trains heading out of Vancouver.
But it's not my port, so time will tell...
Looks like 830 tomorrow morning it departs from anchorage.@604_Dialect so does it mean it departs at 3:00am at night today?
No worries! I couldn't sleep due to excitement the night before I picked up my Tesla, so I know the feeling haha.Wow, thanks for the link!! That's some useful info!!
So it's moored at 0830?I did some Google-fu...
SANDHEADS (SHD) is a lighthouse just off the coast of Richmond Auto Terminal, which was formerly known as FRASER WHARVES (FW).
So it's being moved at 0300, and then brought in at 0830.
@604_Dialect Correct me if I'm wrong
At 0300, it's scheduled to depart from it's current position in Kulleet Bay and make it's way over to Sand Heads, which is another anchor point just outside of Richmond. So it's moored at 0830?
You beat me to it, but yea lol.Ok I think I have this right. VIKING SEA departs from Kullet at 0300 tonight (destination is Sand heads) .And after it arrives it gets tugged to Fraser Wharves at 0830.
I still say they liked my plan though...hopefully MORNING MARGARETA gets to sail right in when she arrives and unload my Tesla!!If it was MY port, I would unload the VIKING SEA as soon as the strike is over, and (assuming the strike gets resolved tomorrow) get her out of there just in time for the arrival of MORNING MARGARETA, combining the two Tesla loads and putting them on the same trucks/trains heading out of Vancouver.
Bruh, of course there is. But it takes a long time to move a huge-arse boat, get it moored safely, etc. before it can unload@604_Dialect is there a morning shift?
Exactly this haha. Gotta keep in mind too that navigating a big ship down the Fraser is no easy task.Bruh, of course there is. But it takes a long time to move a huge-arse boat, get it moored safely, etc. before it can unload
