Disney world has opened in Florida.
If ever there was a test of whether some behavior changes and outdoor activity is safe, this is IT.

At a minimum, the photos of everybody wearing masks and having fun might turn out to be more persuasive in getting fumbduck America to get with the program than all the public health officials have managed.

Saw this video online of a group that was at the first day of reopening.

Heart disease and cancer are missing from the list.

3 largest causes of death missing are actually heart disease and cardiovascular disease, cancer, and Alzheimer's disease. As Sagebrush has already clarified causes of death are typically multifactorial with a precipitant or a last straw so to speak and then several underlying and contributing vulnerabilities. Alzheimer's disease predisposes to pneumonia particularly in its later stages when it causes failure of gag reflex and thus predisposition to aspiration. In any case this chart is obviously seriously incomplete. However it makes an important point that covid-19 is Galloping past many large causes of mortality throughout the world. We're on course to have potentially almost a million people die from covid-19 by the end of the year.

But keep in mind it's just the flu and only a hoax. All created to bring down our wonderful and nearly perfect stable genius. Any other perspective of course means that you have been brainwashed by the lamestream media.

People are stunned when I tell them that 2.1 million people die in U.S. every year.
Maybe because they know it's 2.8 million?
CDC weekly death rate shows that we are back to normal deaths per week at beginning of june.
Nope.

The data they've received SO FAR for the first week of June is at 102% of normal. Data is still trickling in. That week (ending 6/6) will be 108-110% of normal by this time next month.

Here's what that CDC table showed exactly four weeks ago. The corresponding week, ending 5/9, increased 3750 since then.

Translation: But but but people die for other reasons so COVID-19 is faaake.

I also don't see any use in comparing covid to other forms of death. just not sure how, at all, that's relevant.

creeping whataboutism, is what that is.

we could compare a country or a region's response to covid - to another country/region. that's a same-to-same playing field. we could sort of compare covid to the 1918 pandemic. but to bring in other noise issues seems either intellectually dishonest or uninformed.

(oblig: "why not both?")

No idea what you are talking about, but leaving off heart disease and cancer is a major omission. Anyone that has followed this thread beyond a cursory amount should be aware that I'm well aware of how real this virus is.

It shows the exponential increase in COVID19 deaths compared to other diseases. And in fact if every other country besides the US and a handful of other idiot countries, hadn't managed to control the spread it would show substantially faster growth.

10% higher death rate when this year is over. Higher deaths going forward into next year even with the vaccine because of delayed treatment of cancers and heart disease. Not to mention world wide extreme poverty rates rolling back to 1980's levels. What a mess.

"The “Black Lives Matter” movement is partnered with the nonprofit group, Thousand Currents. This is important because the Vice Chair of the Thousand Currents nonprofit, is Susan Rosenberg. Susan Rosenberg is a convicted terrorist. In 1985, Rosenberg was convicted for possessing hundreds of pounds of explosives. She and her organizations involved in multiple robberies, police officer assassinations, and bombings. Rosenberg was sentenced to 58 years in prison. She spent 16-years in federal prison before being pardoned by Bill Clinton on his last day in office. Now, Rosenberg is leading the fundraising efforts for Black Lives Matter. ..." Congratulations! You and your posts on this forum have been unanimously selected for the 2020 Award for the Outstanding Contribution to White Supremacy. Past winners have included such notables as George Wallace, David Dukes, and Heinrich Himmler. You faced stiff competition from several brilliant white Scholars, arguing for deeply neglected historical truths that include, for example, that slavery was actually the fault of black people, that civil rights leaders were in fact communists, and that lynching has been grossly exaggerated, affecting at most a few thousand black people from time to time. We had two extremely close finalists, and the other finalist offered a brilliant essay on "Why White Male Grievance should be the top issue in every political campaign everywhere." But your incisive and penetrating reporting about the terrorist foundations for Black Lives Matter won out.

We'd like to offer you a full-time scholarship to Trump University, and have you be our Race Relations anchor on Trump TV. Thank you so much for your contribution! White people everywhere appreciate it!
