Yes, deaths are still very low in Germany, less than a 100 for almost 25000 recorded infections. Possibly related to the very high ratio of ICU to population.

Yes, people are voluntarily staying in doors and have been avoiding unnecessary social contact.

But this is Germany. Do you imagine that the same conditions will/do apply in the USA?
In a word.....heeeeeeeeeeeell no.

In the same way Germans looked at the logic of Energiewende and approved it's astronomical costs at a 70% rate, the people there will comply with a logical coronavirus response in sufficient rates.

In the US? Our plan is to run around in a circle with a gun in one hand and a fire extinguisher in the other shouting about gays in the military. We'll see how that turns out.

Obviously they can always pray.
You might be surprised how close you are to the truth.

The ultra-religious are exempt from otherwise mandatory military service because they have used their political sway to argue that prayer and bible study is an equal service. I have little doubt that prayer is grouped in the 'essential services' category. The groups up to 10 provision has to due with the religious rules of a 'minyan'

This has absolutely not been proven. Most of the evidence is to the contrary. Also, the Coronavirus will not affect the housing stock (except for some deferred maintenance).
Effect of the Great Recession on regional mortality trends in Europe
Just an example but all the evidence I've found has shown that economic contractions reduce mortality.

Okay. I'll tell my parents, who are about to lose their business (and health insurance) that even though they think they're dying because they're poor they're actually not. Because of this publication.
