Anyone know what car rental company allows one way rentals? I checked with Enterprise and they don’t allow it.

National will, but it depends on where to where. If they don't have enough cars at the origin, they may not allow 1 way rentals. Most rental companies are hurting for vehicles right now.

I'm confident that those who got a VIN are the ones where their SCs are packed with Ys. My SC has nothing so I think I'll only get a VIN when a car leaves the factory.

I had 5-9 weeks from order date for the past 2 weeks. I had date ranges for the first 3 weeks, then it just defaulted.

You can still be assigned a VIN in July/August.

Just seems more likely it will be a car that was passed up on in June for whatever reasons (canceled orders, financing fell through, denied deliveries, etc.). I don’t want to believe this is true, but it’s seems more and more likely when you look at the history.

As others have said, once you're matched, you have to move fast. Otherwise you're essentially placed in the back of the line.

Tesla does allow "touchless" delivery in some locations where you essentially do everything online (including document signing) and they just leave the car at your house. The key fobs are in the car and you use your phone to unlock the first time. The downside to this is that you're not there for an inspection.

Can you still send referrals for DCU?
