The whole point of your delay, and everyone else’s (yes you’re not the only one) is to ensure you get that rebate.

Note: credit, not rebate. The difference matters, at least to people who don't own 300k is tax man.
Not sure how do you claim FRAUD. When I ordered last night the website said

Nothing I saw on the website said I WILL get the Fed tax credit and/or Cali EV rebate. These are "ESTIMATE".

If you are building in a non-guaranteed government subsidy or rebate into the affordability of your car, you can't afford that car.

Big Billy: Take a look and see if Dallas has any other incentives too. I know some Counties/cities/states had their own electric rebate plus even credits for installing charging equipment in your own home.
There was something about Tesla trying to hold off on getting US holders to receive delivery with July 1st deadline for extension or something. I remember reading something about that that so they can get as many of the 200k car limit under for their tax rebate. But it was a few months ago when people were complaining about Canadian's getting their M3's before the US holders.

Remember, last year, congress almost repealed the tax credit for everyone regardless of what type of car, or how many had been produced. So even if Tesla delivers your car tomorrow, congress could still stop the whole thing with a swipe of a pen.

And if your tax bill is 300k, does 7.5K really help all that much? At least the full credit (at the time) can be applied.

I think you’re being a little dramatic.
That’s the media’s approach. Don’t be like the media.
Tesla claimed estimated savings.
The credit is out of their hands.
They delayed to extend the credit. ....
Hopefully everyone gets it. Some may not.
That’s the game.
Elon is the first corporate leader I’ve seen that seems to actually consider the consumer at all.
If you follow him, you would see his intentions seems altruistic. One of the few.
He’s fighting through production hell, and a totally new process.
He’s someone I would give some slack to.
I keep hearing:
“Tesla is playing games now”
“Tesla is lying to us now”
“We should sue Tesla”.
I just don’t understand drama like that for this situation.
