Does anyone think that Tesla is making a faster Plaid considering all of the pushbacks on Plaids or is it just me?

They must be doing SOMETHING seeing as nobody has received a plaid yet according to this forum. I'm probably completely wrong though. lol

Update - just scheduled delivery for 9/30. Not a FSD transfer but man if I was I would've been so lucky.

I think they're building mine and going over it with a fine-tooth comb that all panel gaps are exactly consistent throughout my car. lol

Plaid got no love from Tesla this time. Tesla produces car in batch. I’m guessing there are a lot more LR order because of the tax incentive and they are prioritizing the LR production first to ship as many cars as possible. Hopefully they will start producing the Plaid again soon.

Congrats. I ordered same config also in Tampa with FSD transfer but no luck for me. I ordered afternoon of 9/1 also. Confused how Tesla decides vin assignment and order delivery. Oh well.. happy for you.

Dang that’s wild. I ordered morning on 9/1 but I would think the same config ordered a few hours later should be delivered around the same time.

SoCal/Buena Park order here, Red on Black tax credit ordered on 6/9. EDD 10/7 - 11/18 that hasn't changed for a week.

Ugh. Frustrating. Finally got a Vin, did everything within my power to get it here on time. It shows a delivery date of 10/4 to 10/10. If I’m like four days short of being eligible for full self driving transfer I’m gonna be annoyed.

The 10th digit on your VIN is the production year. 2023 = P. No Tesla 2024's are out yet in the US but I think I saw 2024 should be R. Next letter would've been Q but I don't think Q is used on VINs.

Mine was 10/2-10/9 and I just got notified today to schedule delivery date of 9/30 and I'm in Florida so it pretty much has to travel far and I'm still getting mine days early.

Someone on reddit who I am pretty sure is here as well stated they were getting their plaid on Saturday and that they ordered 9/1.
