Stopped by Park Meadows today and my car is still in California. My delivery date is Tuesday and their estimated ETA is Wednesday, we get on a plane on 6PM on Wednesday night

Oh and the sales guy at Park Meadows said that you can do the paperwork ahead of time and you can then have someone else pick up your car.

If this pans true, I don't think they'll send out the truck until Monday the earliest

They said that a lot of their trucks go through Wyoming. I don’t know if I-80 is any better.

I received a text that my car is in transit. First available delivery date is Friday. I hope the rest of you receive the same text soon!

Interesting. I’ve never got any texts at all about deliveries, just had them show up in my account. According to the ETA on their laptop, it was supposed to arrive on Tuesday with pickups available on Wednesday.

I got the call this afternoon that my car is still in California. So, the Monday delivery is off. The only problem this presents is that I will now likely fall out of the 30 day quote window for my trade in. My expectation is that if that happens it will magically come in about $2k less than their original quote. Heh.

I guess a rep out of state must've called you, our local Tesla reps are off on Sunday - surprised you got an update!

Actually, it was one of our local guys. It is pretty clear that Tesla doesn’t have an effective system in place for customer service or communication on the corporate level. So, I appreciate my SA taking the time to call.

If I were simply curious about the car instead of slightly obsessed, I never would have stuck with them through the process. To reach an even broader audience they will need to do a lot of client-facing improvement. Right now it seems like their production is running flat out so it isn’t an issue.

According to a Delivery Specialist, they are working on Sunday to prep for Monday deliveries. At least that is what they told me on Saturday when I went to look at the inventory SR+ I put a deposit on.

Got word today that our P3D- is on a truck and moving now so hopefully it arrives on Tuesday or, at the very latest, Wednesday.
