I don't think that's true. They didn't like it yes but they weren't cancelling any contacts.
I didnt say contract were cancelled.

"The Department of Defense is weighing whether to suspend or revoke the tech entrepreneur’s security clearance for his SpaceX private venture that launches spy satellites for the federal government following an incident last year where he smoked a marijuana cigarette during an appearance on a comedian’s podcast, FOX Business has learned.

Smoking pot is a prohibited activity for people who have federal government security clearances and have access to classified information. Musk gained such clearance because SpaceX has government contracts from the U.S. Air Force and other federal agencies to launch rockets and spy satellites into outer space. Musk has said the ultimate goal of SpaceX is to colonize Mars.

Depending on the outcome of the investigation, Musk could have his clearance suspended or even revoked, these people say. The Defense Department is focused on whether the SpaceX CEO’s behavior “comports with the type of person who has access to classified information,” a Pentagon official tells FOX Business."

A perfectly good word to describe the punitive nature of his change in duties would be "fired".
No, words still have meaning, and remaining CEO of a company is most certainly not being "fired" in any sense of the word. You don't get fired from a job and remain working at the company in the exact same position.

There were some other factors in the drop of Tesla stock today. There was news about the China economy that doesn't help Tesla, it still has COVID disruptions. Tesla announced a recall of a bunch of cars (that one always sends people to sell, but they are usually minor). And the market overall dropped.

The market overall is bearish right now which doesn't help growth stocks like Tesla. But Elon's behavior is causing some of the drop I'm sure.

recalls hurting Tesla well I’ve been waiting 18 months for them to fix a recall on my model S. Their service issues are growing and the problems are only getting worse with every car they sale. Customer satisfaction is on the decline causing fears that others legacy automakers are repairing their cars. Elon needs to fix this but is spending too much time with Twitter and having fun announcing all the crazies he is allowing back onto the site. Investors better hope Twitter doesn’t go into the toilet.

i could care less about what he smokes as he‘s currently doing worse things than that to upset investors and the advertising industry. Many people are losing respect for the guy hurting the stock prices. The entire Twitter purchase was such a huge mistake for him. I think he got played into making that dumb purchase.

What about dating a Chinese Spy? Is that ok?
This just proves everyone's point. You can't defend your worship of Elon while he's ****ing us investors over so you deflect and turn this into something about a Dem politician that has nothing to do with this. No wonder why you you don't understand elons behavior is a problem. You are polarized

And? So?

No where in your quotes did it mention that SpaceX is at risk of losing its DoD contracts. And most of SpaceX's government revenue (like 90%) comes from NASA, revenue from DoD is very small, so it's factually incorrect to claim "Space X almost lost all of it's Government contracts" even if DoD were to consider terminating SpaceX's contracts (which they did not).

But Musk bad for suggesting negotiation with Putin, meanwhile Biden administration is doing exactly the same thing:

While Western officials also hold profound skepticism of Russia’s aims, they have chafed at Ukraine’s harsh public rebukes as Kyiv remains entirely dependent on Western assistance. Swiping at donors and ruling out talks could hurt Kyiv in the long run, officials say.

The scramble follows comments last week by Gen. Mark Milley, the Joint Chiefs chair. The four-star general said during an appearance at the Economic Club of New York that a victory by Ukraine may not be achieved militarily, and that winter may provide an opportunity to begin negotiations with Russia.

See the difference?
A distinction without a difference:
1. If it's published by a public news paper, it's no longer private
2. If something said in private shouldn't count, then SpaceX privately asking DoD to pay for Ukraine's Starlink service shouldn't count either, yet that's not at all what media did
3. You're also ignoring what Gen. Milley - who is Biden's Chairman of the Joint Chiefs of Staff - said, in public, that total victory for Ukraine is a low probability, and it's better for them to negotiate now that they're in a position of strength, which is word for word what Musk said back in October.
