Free 1 year supercharging on all M3 for rest of September 2018

Is it safe to say at this point that there was misinformation around people getting the 1 year free of supercharging for taking deliver in September? I've yet to see anyone confirm they were given this without ordering a P.

I'd say so. When I asked, the rep said that the source "was not a credible source".

They first have to actively give it to those who are taking delivery in week 4 lol

I asked one rep about it and she said it's true, then when I got a call from the local rep, he mentioned that he saw it in my records or whatever.

I'll find out Friday if my car is there.

Dang! I assume Escondido is served by SDG&E. I looked up their site because I didn't really want to believe the 50c rate you mentioned. Unfortunately, you were right. I don't understand how power could be so much cheaper for me than it is for you. And my utility company has a lot less buying power (serving just 25K households) than SDGE. Something is up with SDGE.

I think they are charging that high to pay off the closed nuclear power planet. I bet if those were online, power would be cheap.

I also haven’t seen any proof of non-P models actually getting the year. I pickup tomorrow and would love to know if anyone with AWD has gotten it, I’ll ask about it but I won’t push if no one else is even getting it.

I asked my Delivery rep today while picking up the car and he didn't believe this was true. He said he only knew about the P with a referral code from earlier in the month.

Was told by staff the article was false when picking up a non-P AWD on Wednesday.

Despite what the people I spoke to promised, I was charged for supercharging tonight. I am going to email them to see what's up. I was lied to, over text message.

I posted in another thread but I did get Free Supercharging for 1 year. It was a “make good” for a canceled delivery, and the fact that I had to move stuff around and incurred costs for the dleivery. But I definitely had to make a stink a bit. It was only approved for me yesterday, and I take delivery today. I am pumped, I go on a 5000 mile road trip immediately after pick up!

Supposed to pick up today, Saturday, in the afternoon. Just got phone call, delivery is delayed until tomorrow, maybe. Tesla said depends on driver.

It should. I didn’t spend that much to move stuff around. I got my car today and have started my first major road trip! It should be about 3,000 miles or so all in

I inquired about the free year of SC with my DA. She was “advised the promo will be activated on Oct. 16th for one free year of Supercharging.” So, maybe it is real? Will have to wait 2 more weeks to find out...
