Anyway, from the demo, it looks like you have to align fairly precisely with the hole in the ground, and there were guides to help the driver do this.

Why worry about alignment? The Autopilot stuff will just take care of it, right?

At the demo, they had metal wheel "tracks" that ensured alignment. Probably will the same or similar.

Perhaps we should expect an OS update that allows for credit card charging when you use the battery swap station.

This credit card information could be set up on your teslamotors.com website account.

In the final implementation, you would be billed without getting out of your car, without any credit card physically being slid through a slot, etc. etc.

Perhaps this was already deployed in the dual motor cars, which have a new OS version.
