HW4 FSD beta Update here???

Elon’s YouTube fans are claiming it was just poor reading by those of us who thought he said it would be a six months or more wait for FSD Beta. His YouTube fans say he only meant waiting for the v12 software he was demoing. Oh well, glad his tweets were so confusing and hope this gets wide release.

I have to go out and look in the car but not till the morning.
I seem to remember a specific line on this screen that was grayed out that specifically addressed FSD Beta. It also addressed the Preview as shown in @navinbusy screen.
I'll update in the morning. I'm hoping the FSD Beta is no longer grayed out.
I just got done updating and took it for quick trip with FSD and even though it's night time, I would say it's as good or better than my M3 with FSD.

Installed the new software last night, but now my GPS won't update and still thinks the car is in my garage. Obviously, the car won't activate Autopilot as I'm driving because it thinks its off road.
Tried the scroll wheel reboot twice on the way to work, but that didn't change anything. Anyone else have this problem?

Talked to Tesla CS. Tried powering down the car and deleting home/work addresses from navigation. Neither of these worked either. I can't imagine this is a hardware issue, the GPS worked fine 3 days ago.
So scheduled the car for service, but nothing available till September 18th. What a bummer.

I just did a quick trip down I-83 & back.
FSD-Beta was GREAT on the highway. It moved in and out of lane changes perfectly and automatically. It even pulled into the right lane and stayed there when an emergency vehicle with red and white lights flashing came up way behind me. The car pulled over to the right lane in plenty of time to let the emergency vehicle proceed without slowing down.
It goofed up at the exit and I had to take over but I re-enabled it on the local portion of 30 West and it did fine on that road and turning off of it as well. On the trip back it balked at taking my exit off of I-83 N and when it was on the exit ramp it was going down it way to fast to stop at the light at the bottom of the wet ramp. I took over.
On the local street I finally gave up with FSD-Beta. This particular local street is wide but has cars parked at various places on either side and the actual driving lane goes from WIDE with no cars and no lines whatsoever on the road to narrow (cars parked on both sides) where only 1 car can get through safely.
On the highway I would say: excellent. On the local streets I would say: work-in-progress.The other updates that accompanied this download are GREAT and address some of the things that the Pre-Refresh S & X had.
Keep up the good work there Tesla programmers. We are moving in the right direction. (edited)

I have the same issue. The update bugged out my GPS location (thinks I’m at home), my windshield wipers now get triggered twice when put in drive, and I have the dreaded buzz of death now constantly coming from the display, even when powered down. Not a good update for me as I can’t even use the FSD due to the GPS bug. I have an appointment sept 5th… hopefully an easy fix

I had a 2017 MS with HW2.5 and FSD Beta 11.4.0 that I traded for a new MS LR with HW4 back in May 2023. In the old car, I used to be able to press the camera icon to send the video of a disengagement to Tesla. That was taken away in an update and it seemed only certain people had the ability record a voice comment to be sent in. Now, with this new update, I'm back in FSD Beta again but this time I have the ability to send a voice comment with each disengagement. Is everyone getting this ability with this new update?
Alright, who do you pay off to get the update? I keep checking the app about every 3 hours on our new 2023 MX
