Thanks.Congrats on the new car. I hate the fact that as a Tesla owner I have to be associated with a group of such pompous, arrogant, condescending, and self righteous pricks.

You're preaching to the choir here. You need to convince the 98% of worldwide new car buyers who choose non-EVs.Admittedly a very nice car but go back to an ICE? Not for me, never in a million years. We need change and now.
They have announced one BEV but not for N.America. Personally I think Lexus should PHEV every vehicle in the lineup immediately while continuing to work toward BEV. Toyota has always been slow to change, that's why they had such boring appliance cars for so many years. They finally improved tech, styling, etc. I really do think they're missing the boat here by not offering a "Prime" version of every vehicle in the lineup. They have the Prius Prime, and the upcoming Rav4 Prime I'm kinda sorta interested in even though I don't really like SUVs.Will be interesting to see if Toyota survives the “EV revolution” coming in the next decade.
R.I.P. reliability. Hello fun thoughIm trading in my 2018 ES350 for a model y performance and I just wait!
Luxury? Spartan is no one's definition of "luxury".
Congrats on the new car.

The "traditional car buyer" will still be families in their 30's and 40's who will need a reliable car and will not wait 2 weeks to fix a screen so they can turn on the AC. I think the single point of control (the screen) will be a distant fad meant to reel in the iphone users who are absolutely dependent on their screen. Yes, the other manufacturers will catch up, buttons intact, and I do think Tesla will suffer. By that time, Musk will sell and take his billions elsewhere, and you'll deal with a traditional automaker going forward.

I did the opposite, traded my Lexus for a Tesla and never looked back!So yeah I got rid of my Model S and traded it on a Lexus LS500.

120k 8 year warranty
I believe that's drive train and battery only.
Right which is about the only moving parts in the car that I can think of. What’s left that can go wrong? The screen I guess but I haven’t heard if that bring a major malfunction with the new gen Tesla
^this guy im sure was under drive train... what exactly is tesla's definition of drive train....I just got the same diagnosis and I have a 2013 P85 with just 77K miles on it. WTF?
